Recommended Customer Reviews

Kings electric scheduled to come to my home. Linda says fee will be waived. I am a repeat customer and because of that no 89 dollar diagnosis fee.
If you do the work just do it with us. I said give me a fair price and the work is yours...and if I do the work I won't use anyone else as long as your price is fair...
When they got on site; Fair price for fair work. They wanted to charge me 537.00 to check by my patio gfi went out. They called this a second diagnosis fee.
After they left; I thought gfi not working; really; so I replaced one of the gfi switches that cost 15 dollars and unscrewed 5 wires and it was fixed. 30 minutes max.
So 537 to actual change one electric outlet....but Linda says they are a professional outfit not a handyman. For 30 minutes of work. Heck I probably would have paid them 300 easily....
Wait the 537 was quoted as a second second diagnostic fee. Wait the first 89 dollars was the diagnostic fee right. Confused again...
My wife was home and didn't know that Linda promised no 89 dollar fee. So she paid the fee.
Per Linda I will waive the fee because your a repeat customer. I told her I don't pay the price gauging fees. She said she understood.
My wife paid the fee. Linda tells me that she will not refund...
Don't trust this company. Find a good local electrician who s charges fair price on work done..

BEWARE!!!! They will rob and cheat you....
Kings Electric charges a service call fee just to come out and another fee just to tell you what's wrong. I thought that was what a service call entailed...saying what's wrong. There is no disclosure of the diagnostic fee before coming out. Bad business practice!!!

Danger. They do give you phenominal customer service but Please do watch out. these folks are not in to fixing your problem but rather taking advantage of your sitiation. Yesterday, when we lost our power we called kings electric to take a look and offer solution. The technician took some like 10 mins to come and tell me that he has to replace the main circute board and gave us the attached quote of $2800 when i said let us get second opinion then the owner of the company call me and my husband to push that if we get in to the contract with them today they will do it for $2500, In my gut i knew this lady and her comnay is fraud and uses bad business practice to lure customers in. The very next day i had another contractor come in to check and he fixed it for $120, he said it just needed resetting and there was nothing wrong with our circuite borad! I paid Kings Electrics $89 for inspection which i am trying to get it refunded as they purely didn't intend to provide solution, instead they abused their license rights to try to rob us of couple thousands. We are not electrician, we rely heavily on these licensed individuals. I would recommend everyone to always get second opinion and if you have been robed by this company or any other, then please speak up, excercise your power as the people to stop these unlawful practicies and report them to www.myfloridalicense.com/DBPR as i just did.

I had been dealing with John the owner as well as Lauren and the Techican Jason for a number of years. All the service has been excellent, timely, professional and at a decent price.
It started out I had an issue with my electrical panel that needed servicing. I had called another company and some thug like guys came out and wanted to charge well over 10,000 to replace a number of fuses. They guys came in tore apart the panel and refused to come to repair it unless I fronted the money. I called Kings and when I explained the situation to Lauren, John himself came out and fixed everything on a weekend!
No additional charge and everything was perfect! I had later had an issue with my AC unit and John came out with a crew replaced and cleaned up everything to a T.
I have been using them ever since and for me, I have to say the customer service, kindness, electronic updates on everything has been beyond advanced and I always get a follow up call by either Lauren and/or John as to have everything is going.
THANK YOU!

Avoid this company. I should have looked on yelp before having them come out. $89.95 to come out and access the problem by talking to you and then quote an inflated repair cost of over $500 to repair an electrical outlet that should have been under $200. I turned them away. I usually do not comment but I had to in this case.

I had the electrician came to repair two GFI in bathrooms. They test for outlet in my guest room and was working fine. The next day the outlet didn't work so I called and they said will send electrician to come today. They send me email to reschedule for another time. I was very disappointed. Never heard from them again after I called them and left a message. I suggest not to contact them.

I agree with several other commenters - this business is a scam! You pay $89.95 just to have them come out to your house, only to be told they need to run a $500 ""diagonostic"" just to replace a simple breaker! I was told the diagnostic fee was mandatory, so I declined. There are tons of electricians you can choose from....don't make the mistake of calling these guys. MOVE ON!

Please do not call these folks. The person who came to my house was very nice and good. He was supposed to send me a quote for the work that would have to be done (after charging me $542 to 'review the circuit'...I'm pretty sure that was way overcharged). The quote didn't arrive so I called to get the report of what he did and what he recommended. A very nasty lady from the northeast berated me for not paying the bill - I told her I paid him onsite. She never apologized for berating me and didn't really help me. She did finally sent me an invoice, but was HORRIBLE to deal with...I think she was mad at the Earth and I feel kinda sorry for her. My coworker recommended them so I guess it's 'luck of the draw'....don't roll the dice on this one folks!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. They took on a complicated, technical & dirty job that two other companies refused to do. They gave me a fair price for the work and there were no hidden fees or add-on costs while the job was being completed. Their technicians were professional, timely, knowledgable, and patient and worked at our home over a 3 day span in pouring rain and mud. John the owner called me on a Saturday to answer my questions and concerns and replied to my emails as well. Lauren the office manager returned all of my calls promptly, scheduled all of my appointments the next day, and helped me to trouble shoot when issues came up with my condenser. One of my favorite things about working with this company is that they send you a text message as soon as a technician is headed to your home. The text message included a photo of the tech, his name and some background info on him, as well as their GPS location/tracking and estimated time of arrival. And yes, they do charge a flat rate fee to come out and give you an estimate, however-- that fee is deducted from your total if you choose to have them do the job. I would recommend and use Kings Electrical again.

This company is very improfessional. I would not recommend them to anyone . They tell you they will come out don't show up when they say and never call . Then show up saying they can't do the work because he's going on vacation the next day and that his hotel is already booked . Wasted my whole day!
