Just needed to change out a couple of ceiling fans to match the new décor in my home. This company was recommended on a neighborhood app, so I decided to give them a call. The woman who answered was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and had a delightful personality. She scheduled me for service today. The gentleman who arrived on time was also very professional and had a really great attitude! I knew immediately that this was going to be a great call! Sure enough, the job was not only done in record time, but it was done correctly, the price was very reasonable annnnnnnd there was absolutely no mess left behind! Kilby Electric Company will now be my ""go to"" every time I need an electrician! Happy! Happy!

I called Kilby Electric to come out to give a quote to run electric for a heat pump I was having installed for my pool. The office admin said I'd get a call back in a day by the estimator to schedule a time to come by. I called back after a week after not hearing back. I was told again I should get a call in a day or so. Another week goes by and call again.....I think you get the point. I ended up using another company that did a great job.

I've used Kilby prior to this for a small repair and they came out when they said, so not sure what the issue was this time.

This company was digging a hole for some work they were doing--NOT associated with me & NOT on my property--behind my home on the other side of the fence. I was out back with my dogs when they told me if I had Comcast, I would probably have to call them because they cut a Comcast cable. My internet stopped working so I called Comcast & explained the problem. I went outside to ask what color the cable was because that's what Comcast was asking & they then tell me they cut through a SECOND Comcast cable. Eventually, my internet came back up so I left it alone.

The following day, they were doing the same work & my internet began cutting in & out when they started working & finally stopped working a little while later. I've been dealing with this issue for 3 days now. I've been on the phone with Comcast & they have advanced the case so it's top priority & they can send someone out quickly, but I still don't have internet.

This was not through any fault of my own, nor is it any fault of Comcast who has been working to try & get my services back up & running. If you are going to be doing work & digging in an area close to a box where there is electric, tv, & internet wires, how about practicing a little bit of care. I've been inconvenienced for days & lost sleep (I work midnights & sleep during the day) because I've had to be dealing with Comcast. So incredibly annoying.

An outlet in one of my bedrooms was shorting out so I called these guys. They were out quick. The tech spent about 20 minutes trouble shooting before telling me the line was shorting from a hole drilled into a pipe. I asked him to replace it and he said he would need to come back another time to do it because he would also need to rebuild my circuit box. After asking repeatedly ahead of time I was told there were free estimates. Well this tech insisted I still had to pay the 135 because he had to take off the wall plate covers to troubleshoot. Told me he would come back with an estimate to get the job done. Never heard back from their company. Had another electrician come out and change 1 wall plate that was burned up and fixed the problem. I feel hustled and he knew what was wrong but didn't fix it so he could charge more to come back.

What a great company. Had a big electrical issue and I called them at noon. At 4:00 pm, Jim one of the owners was knocking on my door. The next day the work began. They have been great and have even helped me out with my insurance company to avoid cancellation. I will keep them on speed dial.

I was in a jam and needed a ton of electrical work done on my house in a short amount of time in order to pass Miami-Dade County inspections. Within 48 hours of my calling them, I had two electricians already working on my house. They worked quickly, were extremely professional and nice as can be. I am still shocked at how professional they were - they swept my house after they finished their job on day one to get rid of the dust caused by their drilling a whole for a new outlet and even offered to MOP my house! Kilby is the only electric company that I will ever use again!!
