Scheduled with Kent, no one showed up. When I called Samantha at the office, she was unaware. She called back and stated they were not coming. I drove 2 hours to my new house for this. If they cannot meet for a quote how can they be trusted to do the work?

No return phone call. I initiated contact for this business from another site. A few days later I was contacted and I gave a description of the very simple job I needed completed. I was told I was going to be contacted with a quote and possible scheduling. This never happened. I hired another company.

Kent electric came today to quote a job for pendant lighting. They were able to provide a reasonable quote and do the work right on the spot. While he was here, I had questions for Victor regarding other small projects. He was able to give me honest feedback about what I could handle myself, and an idea on cost for items I'd need a professional for.
Their work was clean, fast, and came out great. Couldn't be happier!

Came quickly to do an inspection of a new house we purchased and stated they would provide an estimate for the cost for upgrades, including a charger for our electric vehicle. A week later we never received an estimate and the electrician who came out had no recollection of us at all. One of our electrical outlets blew from attempting to charge our car, we notified them and they said our request was marked ""urgent"" but another week has passed and zero response or return calls from them. Don't waste your time.

We're doing mainly a kitchen upgrade but had some other things done in the house. Matt and his team were here two times to do pre- and post-work based on what we were having done. What impressed us the most was that Matt was around A LOT watching his team, making recommendations, ensuring their safety, etc. He also made recommendations if we weren't understanding something. Some contractors drop off the team and don't return. Not in this case.

They are a Veteran owned business and also offered us a military discount (we are both retirees). Thanks Kent Electric! You're our go-to electricians in the future!

These guys know what they are doing and they are vets. Let's help the small business owners. They installed a new ceiling fan and electrical outlet for an outdoor fountain. Made a huge difference in our summer. Go with Kent! He's a member of the Vista Chamber of Commerce after all.

Earl Kent and his team Vincent and Todd did a fantastic job installing 2 chandeliers on 25 foot ceilings! They were exactly on time and even finished earlier than the projected time. They used appropriate covering to protect floors, etc... They paid attention to details such as polishing the crystals when hanging my 2 chandeliers! They also cleaned up after themselves so as not to leave a mess behind. Overall they did an absolutely excellent job and they were so pleasant to work with...I highly recommend them!!

Speaking on behalf on our electrician, whose name is also Vincent, he was very helpful from the start. His boss kept me informed over the phone on their status, Vincent was showed me exactly what he was troubleshooting when he showed up and fixed my electrical issues in a reasonable and affordable amount of time. He was very easy to talk to and friendly as could be. Would definitely recommend him if you could. Wouldn't mind having a beer with the guy honestly lol

I needed a garage rewired and walked the job with Daniel in detail. He quoted me 6 hours of labor in total. On the day the crew had no idea what to expect and had not been given any information about the job. They took 10.5 hours and the final bill was 75% more than the quote. I appreciate that things change on a job, but nothing came up in the work that wasn't discussed or included in the quote. I was very disappointed with the process and the extra cost.

I have given 2 stars because the quality of the work was good, and they cleaned up well. Though the senior on the job spent a good amount of time taking smoke breaks. Overall I would not use Kent again as I feel like low balled the quote to get the work.
