Earl and his team replaced an outdated electrical outlet for our ceiling fan and noticed that we didn't have the correct installation for the fan itself. They were able to quickly replace the fan box and get it installed properly! And as a bonus, his team member was able to complete some dry wall work we needed. My 200 AMP panel needed to be addressed -- several off-brand breakers faulted. I called Earl because he did work at my parents house. He was on time and professional. I was in a bind because several of the breakers burned out and caused major damage to the panel. We looked at several scenarios of upgrading the panel for the future and sourcing the immediate problem. Earl stayed in communication and gave me several paths from which to take. He quoted me the different prices per the scenarios -- he ended up being able to provide a complete fix for far lower price. If you need an honest guy -- he's your guy. He was quite helpful -- AND he's a distinguished wounded veteran -- the guy is a class act!

Scheduled with Kent, no one showed up. When I called Samantha at the office, she was unaware. She called back and stated they were not coming. I drove 2 hours to my new house for this. If they cannot meet for a quote how can they be trusted to do the work?

No return phone call. I initiated contact for this business from another site. A few days later I was contacted and I gave a description of the very simple job I needed completed. I was told I was going to be contacted with a quote and possible scheduling. This never happened. I hired another company.

While he was here, I had questions for Victor regarding other small projects. He was able to give me honest feedback about what I could handle myself, and an idea on cost for items I'd need a professional for.

Came quickly to do an inspection of a new house we purchased and stated they would provide an estimate for the cost for upgrades, including a charger for our electric vehicle. A week later we never received an estimate and the electrician who came out had no recollection of us at all. One of our electrical outlets blew from attempting to charge our car, we notified them and they said our request was marked ""urgent"" but another week has passed and zero response or return calls from them. Don't waste your time.

We're doing mainly a kitchen upgrade but had some other things done in the house. Matt and his team were here two times to do pre- and post-work based on what we were having done. What impressed us the most was that Matt was around A LOT watching his team, making recommendations, ensuring their safety, etc. He also made recommendations if we weren't understanding something. Some contractors drop off the team and don't return. Not in this case.

They are a Veteran owned business and also offered us a military discount (we are both retirees). Thanks Kent Electric! You're our go-to electricians in the future!
