I called this company to inquire if they were interested in doing a very small job which was replacing one exterior light fixture. They said yes and asked me to send a picture of the current light fixture so they could see what I wanted. I did that on 10/11/17. I sent a follow up email on 10/30/17. As of this date, I have received no response. If they decided they don't want to do the job, would it really be that difficult for them to step up and say so? I'm also going to report this result to the place that referred them. Now it's a month later and I have to start from scratch. They must have all the business they need because they won't get mine or anyone else who asks me about them. Inappropriate, unprofessional, and just downright unbelieiveable!

On time, professional, competent, efficient, and reasonable. Can't ask for more than that! I had a couple of relatively small jobs that needed an electrician. All done in about an hour.

What a rip-off! They charged over $400 to install a ceiling fan and an outlet. They were here for 2 hours (why it took even that long is another mystery since there were THREE guys here working) and 6 mins. but charged for full 3 hours. When I called them to inquire about the charges, they were flippant and uncooperative. And when I asked why a very similar job the year before cost under $200, I was told that I ""got a real good deal."" Seriously??
Never again! Buh-bye...

I emailed a request for services over the weekend and received an almost immediate response. However, when I replied no one contacted me back. I have since sent two additional emails with no response. This company came highly recommended by a friend but I have had a difficult time getting in touch with anyone. It has since been two business days.

I had a whole lot of work that needed to be done on my new downtown condo. Previous owner had run cables of every description (except the one I need - Ethernet) through walls, through metal casings, under ceramic tile, and much more.
Mike came out and cleaned up all of that, including burying a coax cable in the wall (Cox could only find 2 of 4 working coax cables after this schmuck was done playing around with his wires). He also added an outlet over the mantle behind the TV and a box for my Ethernet run.
His work and attitude were just outstanding and professional to the max. When I asked him about a track bullet the owner promised to get working and didn't, Mike just pushed the bulb in tighter and didn't even give me as much as a smirk for not trying it myself.
I would not hesitate to use them again, so long as Mike was the tech on the job.

I thought I had a great electrician already, but people leave, and the company I used previously no longer had the key guy I wanted. In any case, since they couldn't come for several weeks, they gave me a reference to Kennedy Electric. I had lights out along the length of the house, plus breezeway, and the entire garage. So weird. I had already spent $300 having a handyman and a retired electrician (he said he was) trying to find the problem, and individually they both concluded finding it would probably require a series of drills into the wall from where the electricity comes in on the other side of the house. I was dreading what seemed to be shaping up. Then Mike, Kennedy's guy, came and by gosh found the problem in 25 minutes, fixed it in another 10, and put back a socket Mr. Retired Electrician had left hanging out. Cost was $109. Yes, I would hire Kennedy - and Mike - again in a New York minute. Another nice thing was that he told me not to go wild and try to put in a big fix since he felt what he did would be both safe and durable.

I had Tom Kennedy come over to give me an estimate. A few weeks later I sent him an email asking for clarification of his quote and and his secretary promptly responded and told me he was on vacation. Waited several days after Tom's return without receiving a reply and so I called him, only to be told that he had never received the email from his secretary. I explained my requirements and asked him to provide clarification on the model of service panel that he was proposing to install. He said he would send me that information.
The next day I received a call from his secretary Anna asking me if I had signed the contract and I explained to her that I was waiting for Tom to send me the part number for the panel. She transferred me to Tom, who immediately began screaming at me that I misled him into thinking I had already signed the contract (I said no such thing and had no intention to mislead him) and that he didn't have time for this crap and he wasn't going to stand for me being abusive to his secretary. I was dumbfounded and suggested that perhaps he was confusing me with someone else or that we had had some other kind of misunderstanding, but he was so irate that I couldn't talk him down.
Needless to say after that call I chose to hire a different electrician.

I hired Kennedy Electric when I received a coupon in the mail. The lady who made my appointment was kind and courteous. I got an appointment the next day.
Gus came over to remove a ceiling fan and hang a new light fixture. He was professional and efficient. He helped me figure out how long the chain should be and gave me a piece of chain he had in his truck. Upon completion of the job, he asked if there was anything else. I asked him to help me remove a bulb that I couldn't get out. He removed the bulb and tightened the base for me.
Price for the small job was well below what I would have expected.
Glad I went with Kennedy Electric and would use them for future projects in the future.

From setting up the service call until completion of the job in less than five hours! Anna was great on the phone; the electrician, Mike, got his prior job done and Anna called and got me set up for an earlier time slot. Mike found a tricky fault really fast (I used to do electrical work and was amazed how quickly he diagnosed this. I would have totally missed it). Great service at a fair price, how can you beat that. Definitely recommend Kennedy Electric to anyone looking for great service.

I was so pleased with the service I received from Kennedy Electric! I called today and requested someone come fix a shorted out electrical outlet. Anna was so pleasant and was able to help me diagnose the problem and fix it! What a pleasure to have HONEST businesses! I will use Kennedy Electric if I need assistance in the future.
