Would give more stars if I could. Working with Keep it powered is an incredibly customer oriented and professional experience and Kip is just top notch in all the ways. We moved into a very old house in West Oakland with so many electrical problems. Kip was extremely clear with us about the options and what needed to be done for our house to be safe. I was very concerned about the way things were done before we moved in and I felt so reassured by Kips expertise and explanations. His rates are so fair for his talent and our family in super grateful.

KIP was great. Installed a fire alarm bell that was attached to a indoor fire sprinkler system. Fast, affordable and made sure it passed inspection, even when the inspection was several months later due to other issues with the sprinkler system.

We've hired Kip a couple times now to install lights and ceiling fans, and he's always done a great job for us. His estimates are fair and spot-on, he shows up exactly when he says he's going to, and he's super considerate of our home while he's working. The quality of his work is excellent, and he always makes sure you're aware of your options at every step along the way. I'm a little paranoid when it comes to electrical work because of the obvious risks if it isn't done well. That's why I really appreciate the time Kip takes to explain his work as he goes, and the level of skill and experience he brings to the job. Kip in particular does clean work and is incredibly skilled at problem solving, trouble shooting and talking you through the best options to address issues or get a specific end result. No job is too big or too small, the rates are competitive, and it's also really easy to get an appointment. That last bit is a big deal because who wants to spend all day chasing down a contractor to get something done? It's one of the many ways that the professionalism at Keep It Powered Electric shines through. I'd recommend them to anyone that has a need for an electrician.
