For those that are looking for an electrician to help with you power needs, I would look no further. I have been using Jesse for over 3 years, on several home renovation projects (interior: full electrical makeover (new power boxes, decorative can lights on dimmers, bath room lighting and vent fans) and have had nothing but positive experiences. I found Jesse on Yelp, based on the numerous glowing reviews. He is scheduled for 8:30, and amazingly my door bell range at 8:30:00. My first impression is that he is polite, clean-cut, and projects an air of competent. He installed an outdoor 12V outlet with GFI Grounding for me, in less than 45 minutes. I also had a small kitchen issue that needed to be look up. Jesse took care of that as well. The entire service call is a fraction of what I had received from other electricians. Most of all, he is polite, well-mannered, and went about doing his job with precision and speed.

In this day and age where mediocrity is expected, Jesse is an outstanding electrician, and an even more of a gentlemen. I cannot begin to voice my recommendation for his services. I am so glad I found Jesse on Yelp and will definitely call on him for future projects.

Through the years, Jesse Keegan of Keegan Electric has completed various electrical projects on my home in Escondido, Ca. He has installed recessed lighting, run electrical for outdoor lighting and as of October 2015, installed a 21 microinverter solar power system using LG panels and Enphase micro-inverters. Jesse provided an overview of the entire process, including timing and kept us informed the entire way. When he had to get into the walls to run some wiring for the solar, also correcting some mistakes made by others in the past, he made nice clean drywall cuts.

Jesse (Keegan Electric) is always professional and clean, before, during & after their work is completed. It's really nice to have someone who is organized and professional working on your home.

We will be using his services in the future, which will probably be more outdoor lighting, and additional electrical runs into the garage for an electric car charging station. We highly recommend Jesse for all of your electrical needs.

We had no idea where to begin when we needed to upgrade our electrical panel, and fortunately our neighbor referred us to Jesse. He is responsive, on time, super polite, and does great work. He knows everyone at SDG&E so the process for installation was seamless. He was very easy to work with, and even provided us with an itemized invoice for all the work we had him do. His prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be calling Jesse should we have any other electrical needs!

Jesse Keegan recently installed a 6 KW solar system using LG panels and Enphase micro-inverters and am very pleased with both the speed of completion of the project and the quality of the installation. Jesse is professional, courteous, on-time, reliable, provides frequent status updates and pays meticulous attention to details on the job. His support team for roofing, stucco and drywall repairs are all excellent. He is one of few solar contractors with special expertise in micro-inverter systems that offer some advantages over traditional single-inverter systems. His rates are very reasonable. I elected to have an electrical panel upgrade done in conjunction with the solar system installation. This provides better resale value for a homeowner than purchasing the alternative RMA device to interface with an older panel and this upgrade also qualifies for the 30% federal tax solar credit. My new panel is state of the art and specifically designed to work with solar systems.

I have significant contracting experience thru prior remodeling projects and also have an electrical engineering degree. I never planned to interview 6 solar companies before deciding on Keegan Electric. However, I found that in each case prior to meeting Jesse, my contact was limited to salesmen that came to bid on the job who had an inadequate knowledge about the solar systems themselves, presented unrealistic return on investment analysis, had a lack of practical experience in assessing the whether the roof needed any work in preparation to installing the solar system, or inexperience with incorporating an electrical panel upgrade into the solar project. Since they were sales representatives or general contractors rather than installers, they could not supply many details about how the project would proceed, what materials would be used or what the final cost would be. They could really only guarantee the bid for the solar system itself. I didn't feel comfortable signing sign a contract not having answers to my questions. One by one, the various solar contractors failed to follow-up with satisfactory answers. Jesse, in contrast, was a hands-on installer and electrician with extensive experience. All of my questions were answered, and not just with ""an answer"", but with the correct answer, as I already knew the answer to some of these questions. Jesse passed ""the grilling"" with flying colors and I felt very assured to be dealing directly with an experienced installer rather than a middleman in marketing and sales that I will never see again once the contract is signed.

He also accommodated my desire to beat the deadline before the less favorable Net Metering II rules start later this summer. Detailed plans were drawn and all permits for the panel upgrade and solar system were obtained in only 1 week. Installation was performed 2 weeks later and took 1.5 days to complete, with the exception of some final stucco patching to be done around the new electrical panel. My home was left spotless after both work days.

Working with contractors is not often something homeowners describe as a ""pleasurable"" experience. However, in this case I can say it was a real pleasure working with Jesse and his crew on this project and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Jesse was recommended to me by Air Plus heating and Air to install a subpanel for an AC unit. I couldn't have been more pleased with the work that was done. I was in a bit of time crunch and he was able to squeeze the job in which was very much appreciated !

One night I lost power to half my house. I tried the breaker box and noticed the main breaker was not resetting properly. I don't like messing with AC, so I found Keegan Electric. Jesse came out to my house after I got off work the next day. I have an older house and the breakers don't seem like the modern standard. He just happened to have one on him. An exact fit. He said he normally doesn't carry this type, but he just happened to have this one in his truck. I had power back on and I was happy. Something about that four leaf clover made me call him and it turned out to be a great decision.
