This company is completely disrespectful. On Christmas Eve Morning they choose to not only do a super early job, but the were loud. Playing loud music as they worked almost as if they enjoyed making the chaos for the neighborhood.

Keef-s spend more time attempting to sell you a brand new unit tan trying to fix the problem. To add insult to injury if all else fails they will go hard in trying to sell you their service plan. The only thing I gained out of this experience was feeling bad and defeated

unfortunately we choose Keefes because the previous owners had them . BIG MISTAKE
They are rude and as long as you have a new unit aren't interested in making you feel confident in their work. Had a new unit put in 2019 and have had issues every summer.
So we're done with them . Please don't waste your time and energy with this company . They aren't worth it. Only put 1 star because it was required but they don't deserve it

Have used Keefe's for 30 years and when it was time to replace my system, I turned once again to Keefe's to replace their previous installation. This installation started on the wrong foot and only got worse. Now that I am trying to get answers to concerns, they are not answering my messages. It has been hotter than normal, but this unit does things that have not been available in past units, and this is causing problems. I will continue to attempt to contact them, but right now it seems they are refusing to deal with my issues. I may have selected the wrong company this time.

After waiting all day for a scheduled service call I was notified that the technician got tied up and they needed to cancel. I asked to reschedule and be the first appointment of the day. I would have to wait two weeks but I was fine with that. The day of the rescheduled appointment I called to say that I was home, but cutting the grass, if I didn't answer the phone it would be fine to just go ahead and send the technician. I was told ""no""! Their policy is that if you don't answer the phone they will cancel the appointment. Which wouldn't have been an issue if they had scheduled me for the first appointment like asked, but they didn't do that either. Fast forward, the technician comes out and finds that the thermostat is not working. He wants to sell me their cheapest thermostat thermostat which is $452.00. I looked online and found the exact thermostat at Lowe's for $48.00. So now I am saying no to them. After several calls I have succeeded in cancelling my contract. I will find an ac company that is fair, honest, and has good customer service. Keefe's sold 70% of the company and no longer cares about customer service.

We had a new unit put in! We kept smelling fumes! I called they said it would be $99! After a month it leaked all Freon out and that is what we were smelling! They did not replace pipe from A/C to house and it leaked! It ran all night and was 80 in the house! Salesman Julio was no help! Finally called office took them all day to replace pipes and house got to 90!

I made an appointment on Wednesday, June 21st, for Friday, June 23rd, to have a ceiling fan and light fixture installed. I received a text on Thursday, June 22nd, as a reminder of the appointment. It also outlined a $25 discount if you donate school supplies for the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Louisiana so I went out and purchased the supplies. Someone should have sent a reminder to the technician of my appointment because I spent the entire day at home on Friday waiting for someone to come out. When I called at 3pm to see if anyone was going to come to my home, I was sent to voicemail twice. How's that for customer service?

As for the school supplies I purchased, I will just donate them to CASA. I will not bother calling Keefe's again.

My technician Alex S. Did a terrible job. He did not find the leak in my air handler.
Then he checked my condenser on the roof and said it was fine.
I still had the leak so I scheduled another tech Aaron who was wonderful.
He fixed the leak, found that my freon cap was missing and the spigot dented. He repaired them. Clearly that was the same as 2 days before with Alex.
Alex also checked my fuse box. After he left, I found 2 switches turned off. NOT COOL!
I am very surprised as Keefe's has always done a great job for me for years.
I DO recommend Keefes but don't allow Alex to be your tech!

I have been a customer for well over a decade, I believe since 2008. I purchased an entire HVAC system in 2016. Twice a year maintenance is required for my warranty. Prior to buying a new system, I paid for the annual maintenance on my system (still pay for it). Service was great. Gave you a choice of morning or afternoon. For the past 2 years though they will schedule a date and then, at the end of the day, tell you that other calls kept them from getting to you and will have to re-schedule. I have complained about this to no avail. Although the technicians are great and so is the work,once my warranty runs out I am going to see if another company is more reliable for scheduled maintenance calls that occur 2x a year.

After meeting with, getting quotes and information on city codes for a whole home generator, I decided I could trust and believe a salesman from Keefes Air Conditioning and Heating.
Fast forward to installation day.. the young crew of 4-5 young men began their work.
My sofits were damaged as they needed to go thru the attic. Mind you, I asked the salesman if I should take them down prior to the install, I was told no, the installers will run the lines on the corner of my home, so they'll take care of the removal a small portion of the sofits. We'll, a small portion was not removed. Instead, I watched them pull away a large section, place the lines , beat the sofits back in place, leave them misaligned, and warped. I told them my issue with that and was told, ""it's the best they can do, and the salesman should have told me they could be damaged it the process. Also, they lines are not on the corner of my properties wall.
More so than this, I am really disturbed by the generator itself. They dug the trench but left the piping facing the exit door, instead of placing them facing the fence, as the salesman said they would be.
Now, the first thing I see when looking at the system is the very unsightly exposed pipes. When I expressed my disapproval, I was told a tree stump was in the way of digging the trench in that direction.
This, too, is in total contradiction to what the salesman told me.
I specifically asked if the ground area was acceptable. He pointed out the exposed tree stump and told me the installers would cut it when they dig the trench.
I trusted the salesman and the installers. Therefore, I trusted and counted on Keefes to do this very expensive home investment.
Being disappointed and disapproving, I called Keefes the next day, expressed my issues, they sent someone out who realigned the sofits, which now look better than the state they were left in.
However, nothing as of yet has been done about turning the generator around so that the ugly, exposed pipes are facing the fence.
Keefes sales team and installers need to get on the same page.
Perhaps a salesman and an installer should be sent to the consult to ensure that the salesman doesn't promise something the installers won't deliver.
I am hopeful that Keefes is going to rectify this situation.
