They didn't do any work for us. In fact, they advised us that we didn't need to do work. We purchased a new home and the inspection recommended some work that had us scared. They spent over a half hour discussing our concerns with us over the phone. When they could have suggested tons of expensive work, they advised us that nothing needed to be done and gave us a couple things to look out for (and call them if we see). SO trustworthy...I can't imagine any other place spending that much time with me and turning away my business (because it is the right thing to do). I appreciated his input and we feel so much more secure having it. I'd definitely go to them when I need something.

Well where to start,
1. Scheduling a Estimate was Great Ken seemed very personable, seems to know the business well so we decided to go with them.
2. Receiving the ESTIMATE well that took a while longer than expected I got plenty of apologizes from Ken that they were backed up ok, let that slide
3. Trying to schedule them to come out and do the work, first it was can I have your number to give it to scheduling dept and now 1 week later still waiting.
4. So can't comment on the work since we never got there.
We got there name thru ANGIE'S LIST and did cross checks with YELP and seemed to get positive reviews just to receive nothing but empty promises.

If your looking for a legitimate electric company, with the highest of standards.. call KD. Good people and great work performed. They turned my garage into an entertainers / teenagers dream. Even all the screws for face plates line up. Talk about perfectionists! They also installed ceiling fans in all rooms in one day! Thank you Ken and Derrick!

Great job. Needed an indoor plug put in. Response was quick through yelp. Came out and did it in record time and helped stabilize another plug. Overall would highly recommend and found my guys for future jobs.

I was referred to this business from one of my neighbors on the local NextDoor website page. I was looking for someone to check out a couple of ceiling fans for me that make a clicking sound on the high speed. I realized this would be a small job and that I might have trouble getting anyone interested in this project.
I sent an email to the business on Sunday, July 24th. I thought it would take a couple of days to get a response. Instead, I got an response first thing Monday the 25th. The response I got was from one of the owners, Derrick. He couldn't have been nicer and took the time to email back and forth with me regarding some questions I had.
I haven't decided what I'm going to do with the fans but if I decide to repair or replace the first place I will call is KD Electric. Though I can't comment on their work (but I know of someone who can) I can comment on their promptness, courteousness and professionalism in answering my inquiry.

As co-owner of a small apartment complex, we need good, fast service when it comes to our tenants needs. KD Electric are our chosen contact for any electrical work. They are reliable, trustworthy, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Derrick sent 2 of his team to us yesterday when we had major power outage in one elderly tenants apartment who suffers from dementia and had overloaded the system. The 2 young men who attended were fast, efficient and installed new wiring and checked outlets and all other requests without question. They were both extremely kind to the elderly gentleman and took time to listen to him. Our problem and worry was sorted in an hour and I can't recommend KD Electric highly enough. Thank you Derrick for your service. We shall certainly call again when we need further electrical help!

I have been a customer for over 10 years. Derrick and Kenny have always been honest and reliable on every job my husband and I have done. We have remodeled two homes and of course my husband wanted the job done right. We have had about every electrical need met from can lights, outlets, audio speakers installed inside and out, outdoor lighting and a complete new electrical panel. They were always fair and took pride in doing the job right. The KD crew even cleaned up after their job which I loved. They're a good group of guys.
KD were also quick to help out my 80 year old dad when he needed to have his electric panel fixed when another electrician took his money and never returned. I called KD in tears because my dad was in the dark and it was raining cats n dogs! They went to my dads's house and fixed the panel without question. It wasn't just about business, it was about helping out and doing the right thing. I will always use KD as our go to guys.
