Wow im so impressed by KCD electric! First the owner Rick is super responsive and fast to write back on Yelp when I reached out for a project and pricing! He gave me a reasonable flat rate price that was honored through Yelp messaging. Other companies wanted either more, to call for pricing or they wanted to come in person first for a quote which I found to all be time consuming. Next, the electrician that came named Gerson was phenomenal! He helped me replace the engine of my bathroom exhaust fan with the same model engine. I thought he would need to go into the attic to remove the body of the exhaust fan but luckily he was wise to recommend just trying to replace the engine first, which ended up working and being way less intrusive to my ceiling. Will contact KCD electric again for my future electrical needs!

Rick answered my call on a Saturday when our ancient smoke alarms kept chirping in the wee hours of the morning and could not be appeased with fresh batteries. I researched and as it happens, these things have to be replaced every decade or so, if not sooner.

Thankfully, Rick was able to accommodate us on a Saturday and supplied brand new smoke alarm units which he had with him. Rick was punctual, personable, and professional, installing the units in no time. We were able to get rid of one of the units we didn't need too.

Great job by KCD and Rick, and good conversation too. I'll definitely hire Rick again for future jobs. Thanks!

KCD Electric got right back to me after my Yelp / web inquiry. The price quoted was in the middle range of the 4 quotes I received. KCD was the only company that offered same day response, which was for an important need. After receiving the quoted, I spoke with the owner who dispatched a technician. After several tests, the technician solved all of the issues, one of which required a lot of troubleshooting. I would recommend and will use KCD Electric again.

I contacted KCD thru yelp to set up a EV charger in my garage. Rick was quick and responsive to my request. Rick was able to accommodate a Saturday appt. On the morning of my appointment, Dylan sent me a text of his arrival time within the time block provided. Dylan did a great job with the install and answered my questions regarding the charger.
