Jerry has done work for our business for years. He recently came over and fixed our warehouse lighting issues. We had a number of burned out fluorescent fixtures and bulbs. We decided to install a number of new LED bulbs into the existing fixtures. Jerry was able to fix all the issues we had. I now have a mixture of old fluorescent and new LED. He got the system to work well. In the future we will probably go with all LED, but for now he got it to work right. We had an old outside dusk to dawn light that was not very bright. They had one in their shop and replaced my old one with a very good and bright LED. Looks great and lights up the entire front of my warehouse. Very good for security. I highly recommend Jerry and his team!

We were fit in when they had a cancel (???). Mark came out and installed two driveway lights, a porch light, and a spa flood light. The porch and spa were easy-peasy. But the driveway lights were an issue with our Ring camera and flood light. We have had a handyman and a contractor try to get our driveway right where the carriage lamps were on a day/night sensor and the Ring on a motion sensor. Neither could get them to work together until Mark showed up. Our lighting/security now works as we want. A total five star rating for Kats!!!!!

I recently did a kitchen renovation and have suffered from 2 poor electricians not putting in proper lines to run microwave unit, under cabinet lighting, and can ceiling lighting improper placement, requiring patching. I had been referred to Jerry and son and I am so thankful to find an honest and knowledgeable electrician. Jerry was so professional and did an excellent job in running not 1 new line but 2 in my kitchen and installed can lights in my vaulted ceiling in living room...""Let there be Light!"" Jerry didn't take the ""easy way"" to complete the job but the ""proper way"" for installation.
I would recommend this father and son team for any job!

I've had an issue with an electrical circuit in my house for quite some time. I had two different electricians with decades of experience troubleshoot this issue throughly but unsuccessfully. I was even told by these electricians that if someone finds out what the problem is to please let them know.

I called Kats Electric a couple of days ago about this issue. I explained the issue and told them its likely something that will not be easy to troubleshoot. They came over today, followed the circuit halfway through my house, and found the culprit: the circuit was making a connection to a disconnected copper water pipe through the chicken wire inside my wall!

Very professional, personable and skilled. I highly recommend them.

About 4 years ago I had Jerry replace an entire breaker box for my Dad's house which had become a rental. His quote was almost $1000 less than a ""ripoff electrician"" from Carlsbad that definitely was going to gouge me. Jerry was the nicest, most honest electrician I have ever met as his review from another client attests.
Then he came back and did more work for me about a year ago and I had him replace all six ceiling lights in my renovated kitchen. At first it was hard to justify replacing lights that were installed just years ago but the result was ""stellar"" with the kitchen brighter and lighter than ever before! Bonus is his son is apprenticing with him and I know Jerry's honesty and fair prices will continue to be a trademark of this company. PLUS, his son brilliantly fixed an issue I had with a ""dark screen"" on our LG TV screen that had plagued us for years. Owning an ""older house"" having an electrician you can trust is paramount as a homeowner. I will recommend him to my ENTIRE neighborhood and ANYONE else that asks.
Also having rental properties having a good electrician solves another headache as a landlord!! Jerry is THE BEST!!

OK we all know how some business over charge. I want to tell you about this company. The owner came over to my house and looked at what I wanted to do. This company spent about 1/2 hour looking at my request and you know what this company charged me for that 1/2 hour? This is uncharacteristic of all of the other companies that have giving me quotes and I was shocked. At the end of the look see I asked how much it was going to run and he said 0, just go with what you have. Fricken 0 people. He could have done what I asked for and charge me but he didn't. I asked before he left what it would run and the quote was under other quotes that I have gotten from jack ass people that just want to take your money. This is a good business people. I will definitely call these people again if I need and electrical work. Thanks Kats
