Having the same issues as other commenter. We will be put on a list with up to a 6 month wait and thats after paying $4800 for a pole installation in advance to make sure you REALLY are going to build. They are more than happy to refund that amt after connection, but only in a statement credit. So they hold your money and draw interest while waiting on you to use that dollar value of electricity. With my average bill it will take 7 years before i have used that much. RIDICULOUS!!

If you are planning on moving and building a home or placing a trailer that requires this company to put electric service in please reconsider. This has been an absolute nightmare for my family and this company has no feelings for what families are going through waiting for them to get to your job. If the company is so backlogged that they are making you wait 2 months for service to be placed I would think that the management would look at hiring more people. If you move into the area that Karnes services you have no other options and have to deal with them alone. If I could change putting my home in an area that this company services I would, no questions asked. There are much better companies out there that actually care about their customers. I have never had dealings with any company as unfeeling as this one. Save your heartache and make sure before you move that this company is not your electric provider.

Worst company ever !!!!
People over the phone are rude and their app to pay online works half of the time and in addition to this they decided to change account numbers for existing customers!!!!! If you can get a different company do it.

The overweight Hispanic lady that works the drive thru window is a very miserable person. Rolls her eyes and scoffs at everyone that goes to pay a bill . I suppose it's because this is a cooperative and people that live in their area have no choice in electric providers . When you have a monopoly you can treat people as poorly as you would like .
