Had to rehire Kama'aina Handyman for the dryer duct hose again because the company that was hired by my HOA to vacuum the dryer duct caused the hose to detach from my dryer. It's a stacked washer/dryer in a tight space so it was difficult to move. Once again, arrived during the time frame given (this time it was Joe and Pohai) and provided friendly, professional service!

Needed help to install two new light fixtures. Requested a quote and received a reply fast asking for more details so they could give a more accurate quote. Booked appointment for the next available in our area. On the day of appointment I received a text informing me that they were on their way. Tema arrived and got started right away. He was both professional and friendly and was able to get the job done fast. The total came out to exactly what I was quoted.
I've used this company numerous times and have been happy with the job they deliver.

I had a soaked baseboard. Came on yelp and messaged them (which was easier than I thought it would be), scheduled the consult, they came and checked (I forgot his name but he was real cool), said they could do it, gave me an estimate, paid half, scheduled the day over the phone and the woman was really cool too during all the phone calls exchanged, they called on the day asking if they can come early so I was like yeah! Then Pohai came on the day, he was real cool too, I didn't count how long it took him but in my opinion done in one day is amazing and that's what he did. Before he left I had to pay the other half (which was less than 50% because I opted out of painting since it's already the color I needed it to be) and the person paying wasn't home but since I was able to get their card info over the phone I was still able to pay and that was it! I'm really happy with the work done and I'm definitely going to request their services for other things when I eventually need them. I liked their teamwork, patience and helpfulness.

They were excellent. I had a door replaced in my condo, and it was done professionally and completed to spec. It was a difficult job but they handled it well and did it in a timely manner. Pricing was definitely fair and competitive. Highly recommend.

Our new slide-in range didn't slide all the way in, leaving a gap because the 240V outlet was in the way. Joe came to fix it and now the stove fits snuggly into the space.

KAMA'AINA HANDYMAN IS THE BEST !!!

I highly recommend them to do a great job at a reasonable price. I had them renovate one of my showers starting with demolition and going all the way to plumbing and tiling and I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work. They are licensed and yelp-guaranteed for peace of mind.

You can count on Pohai and Joe to make sure that the job is done correctly.

Scheduling is a breeze with Nora. She'll either text or call you to confirm the appointment and arrival time.

I can not say enough about how 'on it' this company is!!!

So I would have given a 5 star rating as the service was punctual and well done.

Being a retired general contractor myself, I broke rule Number 1. Agree upon a price first.

I made the mistake of assuming it would be a fair one. They have good reviews.

When I received the $617. bill for let's say less than 2 hours work (installing 2 ceiling fans and one window A/C), I was very surprised, and quite frankly feel an old man was taken advantage of. Could have easily done this myself but ladders and poor balance don't go well together.

So, moral is to get the agreeable pricing done first, and I would recommend them and utilize them again. Mahalo!
