We received a bad inspection report for our panel when we were trying to sell our home. Kalahari came in and went over the report. We looked over and signed a moderately priced quote. Then they set off to do the work to tidy up the panel a bit and swap out breakers. Once into it they decide they would rewire the whole thing. They did not charge extra and were still in and out fast. We have used several other companies but will not ever again.

This company is a big ripoff for a small homeowner...Do not call them unless you are ready to spend a few hundred dollar. I believe the owner came out , charged me for coming only to tell me he will charge another $ 265 before he starts to look at anything

Seriously the best electrician I've ever had. He was wonderful. My power blew out and he came right over in the middle of rush hour traffic while I was trying to get ready to leave for a show- he hung out at the house until it was fixed and even brought us chip clips with the company name on them. My dog LOVED him and so did we. He fixed my door knob to my front door without even asking me and my living room light bulb! Seriously a great guy and a life saver. This company deserves more than 5 stars .

We called this company because they were recommended by Jackson EMC and we needed services immediately. The worker that came out said it wouldn't be over $400 max. They guy came out but didn't have the necessary equipment to fix the issue. He went to home depot and came back with the wrong equipment. The home renter ended up driving the guy back to home depot in his own vehicle. Then he had to drive him to the other side of town to pick up his help. They got back and eventually got the work finished. What we were told was a simple job ended up taking four hours and two trips to the hardware store. Then the guy ended up charging us $650 instead of $400, I don't feel we should have had to pay extra due to his multiple trips to the hardware store or his trip to pick up help especially since our renter drove him. However It was quality work and the job got done.

Simply the best. I called six different electricians before I settled on Kalahari Electrical Services. When I spoke with Jan over the phone, he was thorough, professional, and the only person I spoke with that was willing to give a ball-park estimate before coming out to take a look. Considering each electrician I called required a service fee just to show up, I found his willingness to listen quite refreshing. Jan was careful, calm, and patient with his work and with helping me understand the electrical problems my wife and I faced at our house--thankfully minor.

Simply put, I would recommend Kalahari to everyone and will never call a different electrician again. Thank you Jan!

I've had the pleasure of working with Jan and his team twice now. The first time to repair a substandard installation by another contractor (I'm looking at you Handy Electrician) on our bathroom remodel and the second on updating our kitchen electrical system and adding a garbage disposal. Jan is very complete with his assessment of the job and gives a clear written quote prior to doing any work so I knew exactly what I was walking into working with him. He and his team were prompt with their appointments and thorough with each job asking questions to make sure installation of ceiling lights and switches were where I wanted them.

I would recommend Jan and his team to anyone. They are very professional and clear about the work and costs they will perform.

I highly recommend these guys if you are ever in need of electrical services. Needed a chandelier hung in the foyer area of our house, as well as needed a couple of new electrical outlets installed. These guys were on time, extremely friendly and great to work with, affordable, timely with their work, and they cleaned up after themselves. I am very pleased with the work they did and would definitely use them again.
