My wife and I asked Kailua Electric Services to resolve a safety issue in our home where there was an insufficient electrical service load available in two rooms where we had air conditioners installed. If we were running both AC units at the same time - sometimes the (15 Amp) breaker would trip. More often it was the vacuum or a hair dryer along with one of the ACs that was the cause of the breaker tripping. I guess the previous homeowners never intended to go beyond a Television and a reading light in those rooms.
Kailua Electric was able to design a very efficient plan to bring two dedicated 20 Amp lines from our existing power panel to the two rooms and install a dedicated plug immediately below or beside the air conditioning units; a very clean and efficient installation both inside and outside. Now it doesn't matter whether the AC units are on or not; we can operate whatever appliance we need to without fear of overloading any circuit.
The Kailua Electric installation team was able to accomplish the installation in only one day (2 man team) ensuring all wiring was installed 'to code', mounting all receptacles flush to the wall and sealing all conduit and penetrations ensuring watertight integrity.
Every aspect of the planning, execution, testing and cleanup was accomplished by a very attentive and knowledgeable team that fostered great confidence that the job was being done properly.
As a side job, Kailua electric was also able to establish an outlet in our master bathroom so that my wife's Christmas present will surely warm her heart and bring her great joy. [Think: Toto Washlet...]
