Kawika was quick to respond to my messages. He diagnosed my problem with my sub panel and came and fixed it ASAP. He walked me through the procedure and explained what was the problem was with my electrical. He changed out my old panel, and placed a new panel with the correct wiring my house is supposed to be equipped with.

Kawika is really a fantastic change from the typical contractors I have hired to work on my home. He listened to me without interrupting as I showed him my issues and then gave me his take on my electrical situation and fixed the two problems I had.
He came out after he had worked on another job all day and did the work just like he said he would. He even gave me a courtesy call to let me know his first job was running late. That seems pretty rare these days.
He even informed me when he was finished with the work I had done because he charges by the hour and there were 15-20 minutes left that I was going to pay for anyway. So I had another small job he did during that time. Who does that? Kawika does.
Very knowledgeable about his craft and relays that to his customer.
I'll hire him the next time I have electrical work, that's for sure.

Well, what can I say. I encountered an electrical issue at my house on a Sunday, reached out to 5 different electricians, only Kawika replied. I explained the issue to him in detail, he gave me some at home remedy solutions to try first (which I appreciated, as most people would just come and charge you, this showed me he had integrity.) After that failed to remedy the problem, I reached out again to him and we scheduled for him to come out the following day. Upon arrival within seconds he was able to get to the root cause of the problem. He discussed his plan of action and within a couple hours all was well. Very personable and knowledgeable! Great referral for sure. Mahal Kawika!

I have to say something about Kawika's customer service.
I needed electrical services and called my regular electrician and a few others. No one answered NOR called back and time was getting short. I decided to search yelp and found K Tahere.

Kawika not only answered the phone, but was pleasant and I could tell he was busy. Nonetheless, he made arrangements to stop by my location to check out the situation I was in later that afternoon. He did a walk through, grabbed my card and left. Within the hour, he emailed me back a quote and confirmed a date if necessary.

Soon after he left, my regular electrician just showed up and apologized for not getting back to me sooner as he was busy. He did a walk through and again got back to me with a price soon after.

I have to admit that I did NOT use Kawika since I went back to my regular electrician BUT PLEASE KNOW that his customer service and pleasant, humble demeanor is hard to beat! I would certainly call him again if my regular electrician was not available.

We had to have some electrical work done in order to install our central AC unit so our AC contractor referred me to Kawika. On the same day I called him, Kawika came out to give me an estimate. Due to the timing of the AC unit being installed, we had to coordinate the electrical work to be done at the same time as installation that following week. He was able to accommodate us and did an AMAZING job! Kawika is polite, professional, very knowledgeable of his trade, and incredibly efficient. We are SO happy with his work and would absolutely use him again for any future electrical work we do one our home.
