Unprofessional. Called on a Saturday. He said he'd come by to look at the job AND I texted to confirm the address and on site contact. An hour or so AFTER he was suppose to arrive I texted for an update on his arrival and received no response. Over two hours after that (nearly 4 hours after he was suppose to arrive) he responded ""I don't know who this is but I'm not looking at any jobs this weekend sorry.""

Fortunately I didn't have staff stay and wait for him which would have wasted time and money. But its 2018. EVERYONE knows how to scroll up a text message chain. CLEARLY you saw that you confirmed an on site estimate today. I'm confident I texted the right number because after our conversation I simply clicked his number in the call log as the text recipient. AGAIN it's 2018. Pretty easy to track things with our high tech devices.

I would've preferred no response at all than a silly text message like that. Really? If you changed your mind or if something came up the text should have read, ""my apologies but I'm afraid I am going to cancel the on site estimate we scheduled. Can we reschedule for another time?"" That I would respect. But to text me hours later as if I imaged the appointment with the confirmation text at the top of the email chain? You're just as incompetent, immature, a**hole who wasted my time.

News flash MOST PEOPLE DON'T LIKE WORKING WEEKENDS AND THOSE WHO HAVE TO, DON'T APPRECIATE EXTRA HOURS FOR NO SHOWS!

I needed some overhead lighting installed in my living room and hall way. A friend recommended Kevin from KJ Electric, and I am very happy with his work. He was friendly, methodical, and kept his mess to a surprising minimum.

The kitchen fluorescent lights quit working so I gave Kevin a call and we had a nice chat on the phone. I liked his relaxed demeanour and very reasonable pricing so I set up a time to meet with him and he did a fantastic job in accurately diagnosing a defective ballast and replaced it quickly. He is a very talented professional electrician and a wonderful guy to deal with. This guy gets the job done!

Kevin did a great job on the electrical issues we had in the garage. He installed the proper voltage for an Electric dryer and also cleaned up a lot of extra wires leftover from the previous homeowner. Would recommend him for any Electrical installations/repairs you might have!

We had Kevin handle a variety of projects for us - installing lighting, repairing outlets, and even hiding some unsightly cords. Even when seemingly small requests took a lot of effort, Kevin was up for the challenge. He was knowledgable, honest with his recommendations, fair with his pricing, quick and thorough with his work, and just a pleasure to be around.

Perhaps most telling - when a ladder accidentally fell and damaged a wall, Kevin was quick to fix it. Accidents can happen, even with the best contractors. How they respond is a great indication of their integrity. I couldn't have been more pleased with Kevin's response.

Two room in my house were without light. He came in diagnosed the problem, put up 2 light fixtures and changed an outlet. He's very personable and knowledgeable.
