Spent no more than 20 minutes to inspect and let my wife know that the cause of the chiping sound was low battery level in our smoke alarm. Proceeded to charge $240 wothout hesitation amd said that it is their ""minimum charge. Cmon, how can you sleep at night with a clear conscience knowing you screwed you fellow Benicians? I'm in the service business as well and we have our diagnostic fee which can easily be adjusted depending on the situation. I would have been happy to pay half the amount for your service. $240 for 20 minutes of actual inspection comes out to $720/hr which is absurd. We try to support local businesses as much as we can but this experience will definitely make us think twice.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have used them before and wrote a review because they were so stellar but can't find it so I'm writing another one. Their service was exemplary and their prices were far more reasonable than other electricians I had contacted. So, when the power to part of my garage went out today, I called them. The lovely lady who answered the phone talked me through things to check before they sent someone out and sure enough, a circuit breaker had tripped. They could have charged me a service fee to come out and check it but she solved my problem over the phone. I would not hesitate to recommend K Butler Electric.

We needed to deal with a hardwired smoke detector that was at the end of its life and was starting to beep. When I called to set up an appointment they worked hard to find a way to fit us in their busy schedule. Isaac was the electrician and did a great job with the replacement of the smoke detector, and also helped us replace a switch, so now we have a dimmer on what was a very bright LED bathroom light. Isaac was very professional and did a great job. We will definitely go to K Butler Electric for more of our electrical needs!

If you are looking for a company, that has reasonable pricing, very nice professional staff, this is the company for you. They showed up on time (7 am sharp). The completed the job in a reasonable amount time. We have used their services twice. You cannot go wrong about hiring Ken and his crew.
