My lights inside my house were freaking out from time to time, I ignored. Blink of an eye power outages occurred inside the house, I ignored. The electrical components of my washer fried, I ignored. However, the last straw was when the power going out when I pressed power on my new washer. I called the electrician and he came out, same day. It turned out the panel outside got corroded due to the salty air. These guys were quick to provide a temporary fix and were awesome at coming out for a full panel replacement. Prompt work, clean work, cool guys... can't complain.

Hands down the best electrician in San Diego. I have never met a more selfless person. Jay went above and beyond to help me out during a stressful kitchen renovation. I have a house that was built in the 50s and had several ""updates"" that were clearly done by a less than skilled handyman. Nonetheless Jay took on the task and had the whole kitchen rewired and even upgraded the lighting. He singlehandedly saved the renovation without him I would have been dead in the water. He even came back to knock out some other issues that popped up. Definitely is my go to guy. More than just an electrician to me and my family.

Jay originally did work on our home after an emergency remediation situation. At that time his feedback and guidance regarding the best ways to place lights, controls etc were spot on. Since that time he's also helped with installing a heater and later replacing breakers.

JW Electric just finished the electrical rough of my kitchen and did an outstanding job. I live in an old house and Jay was able to eliminate, correct and improve upon some 80 years worth of ""homeowner engineered"" electrical efforts. In addition, he provided some very solid and cost effective improvement recommendations that really upgraded my overall job. He and his partner showed up on time, worked solid through the day and completed when he said they would. To top it off, Jay even returned to my house to return some funds I overpaid... so not only hard working and reasonable, but also honest and trustworthy! I am looking forward to having JW Electric do the finish work once my cabinets are in, as well as some additional electrical work in other parts of the house!

Hooked up my hottub and everything works great. It has been 1.5 years since install and no issues. JW was prompt and courteous. The owner made some outstanding recommendations on the install - for example, a covered outdoor electical outlet (to avoid getting splashed) and we love it.
I now need to use JW again and wanted their number, found on Yelp and decided to post a review. I will post again after they install my lights and fans in my outdoor living space!
