Life saver! I have a dodgy hall light which would only turn on once in a while -- something I'd been meaning to fix for ages. My house was a rental before I bought it so some work was done sloppily. I requested a quote here on Yelp and Joe replied quickly.

Joe was super responsive and able to come out a couple of days later. He arrived on time and figured out the source of the wiring issue, and fixed it quickly. He also explained the issue and how things were wired.

We have a lot of light fixtures and power outlets around the house that are loose or badly wired, so I asked about replacing those too. He made notes and came back with a reasonable quote and kept in touch about his availability. Again he arrived on time and got right to work. It's a relief to have all of our outlets available and in working order again!

I would not hesitate to recommend Joe -- I found him very professional, communicative, reliable, and easy to work with. Thanks JV!

My dog tore up some wiring and I was unsure if there was any damage to the electrical. He came out promptly and looked at what was done. Luckily the dog didn't damage the electrical. He was able to explain what was chewed on and then proceeded to check my outlets. He was patient and understanding of my concerns, he took the time out to explain everything to me. Definitely would recommend him.

Update.. Tenant requested that JV Electric(JV) inspect the entire unit during service call. I specifically instructed JV to focus only on the bathroom outlet. JV followed tenants direction, spent time and energy inspecting entire unit. JV does not follow scope of work.

I tried to install a light timer and although for some this was an easy job, for me it was a challenge. I had 3 wires to install and all the wires where the same color, that lead to different areas of my house. After trying various combinations, I decided to call JV Electric. Joe came out and didn't judge or laugh at me, he just got right to work and fixed my issue. He explained to me what I did wrong for the next time. I completely appreciate Joe's professionalism and will keep his card for the next time I need help.
