Many years ago, I met Jim Bacon. I was looking for electrical to my front gate in jupiter farms. I was capable of digging trench and doing the manual labor portion. I asked him if he could the job for $1000. Actually, my words were I have a thousand dollars to put towards the project and I will dig trench. He said yes that was reasonable. He told me what needed digging. I dug it. It had to re-dig a few times because he took it as a side job at reduced price so he would stop by every couple of weeks when he had time after hours. Had some rain and weather would mess up trench. I corrected it to make life easier Jim got it done 2-3 months later. Understanding now that project was 4-6 hours by competent electrician at max $150 per hour. I accept, I made mistake but I learn. I made mistake of not writing the review then. He ran conduit and hired a kid for $12per hour to help him. He shows up 30 minutes here and there forgets parts, shows up 20 minutes before dark,etc. he completes it. I fill in the dirt with some laborers from el sol. Then I go to pay him and he tells me it's $2200. I say we discussed the fee previously. Where are you getting this number? He says he pays the kid 40 bucks per hour but had forgotten he already told me he pays him $12. He jumps up and down in my kitchen like he is having a breakdown and says everyone does him wrong. He uses harsh words. Not exactly professional or mentally stable. Rather than litigate with him or lose my temper, I paid him. I wanted to avoid the conflict. I wanted him out of my house. He left a ladder at my house. I called him. Left message and talked to him directly and he said he would pick up later in week. About 4 years later, I run into him at event in jupiter ( chili cook off) and he asks me about ladder. I say come on by and pick up. He says he will. Now another 4 years goes by and this clown calls me today asking about his ladder. Seriously 8-9 years later. I would have never written anything bad but this guy has attitude. He had it again today. At the time of his temper tantrum in my kitchen, I considered placing an advertisement in the Jupiter farmer about good and bad companies I have used. I decided to move on and say nothing. Sometimes, giving nut cases attention just causes them to find a way to irate you more. His calls today, just bothered me. He tries to tell me I borrowed a ladder. Really? I tell him I'm not a storage and I sold his ladder at garage sale after he did not pick up after 5 years. I did not borrow ladder I have a wooden ladder same size and never needed nor would I not return. Sometimes not speaking out is worse. I had forgot about this guy So after about 8-9years I'm writing this review about his lousy service, unprofessional conduct, and memory. He said on the phone he was retiring. Good. Until then, this review is what should have been posted. Not a man of his word or of principal. Has an arrogant attitude. This was my experience with Jupiter electrical and Jim bacon

This company did some work on my house and I couldn't of been happier. They know what they are doing!
