Juan just finished our master bath remodel. He is the BEST! I did extensive research online into company ratings and photos: Did people like working with them? Did they do quality work? I picked 3 different companies to come out and give me an estimate.

Juan was the first person to respond to my quote request, he was the first person to show up for an appointment, and I had a good rapport with him immediately. He gave me the lowest quote and I was planning to take the middle quote if the company seemed reasonable, but I ended up going with Juan anyway because 1) he took the time to understand what we wanted, 2) he has 15+ years of experience, and 3) I felt strongly that he would be the right person to work with on the project.

Juan was on time every day, always told me what he was planning to do before doing it, and asked for my guidance *beforehand* whenever necessary. He is super professional, friendly, and just generally knows what he's doing. He also got the work done much faster than the other 2 companies' quoted timelines. Anytime there were unforeseen issues (which every project has), Juan didn't panic; he calmly explained what the issue was and thoughtfully explained the options to me. I truly appreciate this collaborative approach to problem solving, and it's one of the things that distinguishes Juan from many other project leaders.

I'm glad that I put in the time to research a lot of different companies so I could find the right one to handle our remodel. I'm so grateful that we found Juan. I already hired him for another project, and am planning to hire him again for another bathroom remodel this fall. Check out the Before and After photos of our master bath!

Juan has helped us with several projects around our home. Type of work performed; adding electrical outlets, installing light fixtures, completion of our son's new office space included adding sheetrock to interior framed walls and painting of the new office, paint touch up on several rooms in main home, pool area gate repair work.

Juan's pricing was fair, he was quick to respond to our inquiry for bid and needed timeframe to complete these projects. He and his team were easy to work with always prompt on arrival times, kind and professional and they did a great job cleaning up work space areas when they finished each day.

Highly recommend Juan and we remain grateful for his help!

We hired Juan to help us remodel our new house (it needed a major beauty job). Juan and his crew were absolutely fantastic: 1) Juan responded quickly to our request and took two days to give us a quote 2) his prices were reasonable (I compared to other 3 Yelp reviewed handymen) 3) the work he did was truly fantastic (great quality, done very speedily, knew what to watch out for) 4) we felt he had an outstanding work ethic, he was always on time, proactive and proud of what he did. Lastly, Juan and his crew were always careful to use a mask which we appreciated in this pandemic times.

We felt truly lucky about finding Juan, our house had the remodel it needed on time and we felt the prices were reasonable.

Highly recommended, we plan on calling him for our future remodel projects.

Juan recently fixed a tricky bathroom shower leak in our home. The job ended up being much bigger than we originally thought but he stuck with it and ordered all the materials to do it right. Loved his work ethic and reasonable rates - will definitely use him again!

Juan has done work on my house before, but the latest project deserves some serious applause. We had a pipe burst in the wall of our kitchen about a month ago. so we called Juan and he rushed over immediately and was able to locate the issue and got to work almost instantly.

After the issue was remedied, we decided to remodel the rest of the kitchen since we were already halfway there. Juan and his crew took care of the plumbing, electrical, gas, floors, assembly of the cabinets and much more. He is truly the ultimate contractor!

I also can't forget to mention their superb work ethic and amazing respect they had for my family. A great example was when Juan and crew were installing the new tankless water heater. Before Juan got started, he informed my wife and I that there would be no hot water for a couple hours as soon as he took the old water heater offline and laid down the pipes for the new water heater. Juan stayed for two extra hours that day to make sure our family had hot water for the night! I can't say that many other people would care that much to stay longer, but Juan does!

There are so many other great stories and examples that I can post about Juan, Eric, and Caesar, but this post would take up most of the comments screen, so just take my word for it and hire Juan for whatever project you need done around the house!

Just a quick update regarding my previous review of Juan Carlos.

Regarding:

3) finding the right screw for my French Door, which the original manufacturer was unable to provide.

Fewer than 6 months later, his fix for the French Door handle has failed, and it now comes loose from the door, as it was before he tried to fix it.

Juan did excellent work at my house. He installed crown molding and baseboards throughout. I had contractor friends walk through after and they even agreed that the detail showed on his work. He does not cut corners on the quality of his work.

We found Juan after an exhaustive search for a contractor to remodel our dated home.
Juan gave us a price we can work with and his team began with replacing ceiling lights throughout the house to a series of projects that resulted in a complete revamp of an outdated 1950's house into a gorgeous functional modern home.
Kitchen and bath overhaul, room reconfigurations, framing, drywall and insulation, electric and sewer works, cat 6 cabling, stucco, plastering and interior and exterior painting.
Working with Juan and his team was a breeze during the 8 months of renovation. The end result is fabulous compared with what we had commenced with. Absolutely enjoys being in our 'new' home.
Collaborative, Trustworthy, reliable, priced well for the good work, fast and efficient in execution. Would highly recommend and would definitely work with them again!

We were very happy with Juan and his guys. We had an outdated all original apartment in a building in Burlingame. Tenant recently moved out so we thought it was a perfect time update. We met at the apartment and I went over what we wanted. There was a bit of phone tag here and there but overall everything went great. We were quoted a price and given a time of three weeks to redo floors, paint, kitchen, bathroom etc. Came out GREAT and we couldn't be more happier with everything. Will definitely call again if we have another vacancy in one of the outdated apartments.

Juan does a great job on everything and has worked on my home many times. I highly recommend him for any type of Handyman services. Reasonable and efficient and does his best to fit you into the schedule wherever there is an emergency. Besides that he is just a really honest and nice guy.
