They did a great job at a reasonable price. Called when they were on the way, showed up as scheduled, and polite/professional. Will be hiring JSR again for any future electrical needs.

Great attitude and work from JSR~ It was easy and quick to make the appointment, without long drawn out lead times, and nice to have an enthusiastic response for my project/estimate request. JSR provides excellent communication by confirming the appt and also offering a pre-arrival check in call/text, which i appreciate. Jeremy showed up and was very responsive diving in and trouble shooting a complicated wiring/outlet outage. I was bummed about initial cost, but he did great work & solved the issue, repaired an outlet that got two dead outlets working! So I felt like I got a good value for work done and was very pleased. I promptly received emailed invoices & an additional quote for further work that was very professional & proactive. The quote was higher than I can go, so I wont be pursuing my hope for a vanity light above the mirror, ($482 to wire to a new switch box!), but if I could afford it, I wld recommend JSR, because I feel confident their work would be reliable and excellent.

First, let me say I write very few reviews.
When I write a review it's because Im so convicted, I feel I must let others know. Here's what I know about JSR:
After going through several electricians and thousands of dollars only to still have the same electrical issues, I finally smartened up and turned to YELP. I should have STARTED my search on YELP. I know better!.
After reading through all of the reviews for electrical companies that service my area in Las Colinas, I was convinced that JSR was the company I should ""try."" I say ""try"" because I had lost faith in electricians and I was afraid I'd be let down again.
I can now tell anyone reading this, the glowing reviews on Yelp for JSR are all true. Maybe even understatements!
Not only were they able resolve my ongoing electrical issues but this company ALSO goes above and beyond by arranging service calls to MY schedule even if it means weekends. The electrician are master electricians and because of their knowledge, my electrical issues are now a thing of the past.
Alecia, the dispatcher is also a gem. She so helpful on so many levels, I asked her if she owns the company. When she told me she didn't, I was very surprised. You will be surprised too if you work with her. She jumped through hoops to work things out in the fastest and best way possible for me. She's excellent and the electricians are just as excellent.
Knowing what I know now, going to Yelp and reading the reviews was one of the smartest things I've done for my home and for my bank account. I can say with great confidence, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this company.

This was our first try with JSR, and it was a great Experience in every way. The scheduling and customer interaction was responsive and professional. Tim arrived on time and did an excellent job at every level. His attention to 'everything electrical' was impressive, with him making helpful suggestions as he walked the property. He cleaned up some bad wiring and was out the door in no time. JSR will be 'our electrician' for the foreseeable future. You'll be glad you called.

We requested service to install a new outlet. Our technician wore mask, gloves and foot coverings for safety and cleanliness. He was fast, efficient and professional. Job well done and will use this company again.

Excellent service. Jeremy arrived on time and was professional, efficient, explained everything, and made sure I was okay with the price before continuing. I'd definitely use them again.

While starting some DIY remodeling in my kitchen, I pulled out the 50-year-old dual oven in anticipation of replacing it and the similarly-ancient cooktop with a modern electric range. While checking the voltage on the disconnected line to the ovens, I found 172 volts. Not common at all. Recalling that I was informed when I purchased the house that the wiring was aluminum, and that there can be shorting problems with such wiring, I decided it might be time to upgrade the ""notorious"" Federal Pacific circuit breaker box with a new one, and in the process possibly straighten out 50+ years' worth of circuit add-ons in the process. I filled out the online quote request on Sunday, mentioning that the odd voltage found and what I was requesting service for (Panel Replacement only).
I received a reply back, but the earliest possible time for an estimate was Wednesday, which I accepted.
When the technician arrived, I explained the work I wanted done, and showed him where the panel was. I had had two other estimates for this work already completed, one on Monday and another on Tuesday.
This technician did not ask the same type of questions the others asked, and also was very curious about the rest of the house and not simply the work I was requesting. He wanted to know about the smoke detector system, and the GFCIs, and very oddly enough, didn't say a thing about the gaping hole and exposed wires in the cabinetry in the kitchen.
He then went back out to his work van and wrote up the estimate.
I received the estimate and was astounded. It was double the first estimate, and included things that I knew were not even remotely necessary. The estimate was not even labelled as a ""panel replacement"" or ""panel move and replace"", but as ""complete service upgrade"". All I had asked for was for the panel to be replaced by a fire-safe unit, and I accepted that it needed to be moved out of the closet and put elsewhere. That was it.
The estimate included 5 GFCI's I hadn't requested, and a complete smoke detector package that isn't necessary, since my battery-operated ones are sufficient. This added about $2000. The largest unneeded thing was, he wanted to replace the existing outdoor main for some reason, instead of simply extending the wiring coming into the house to the new panel, at what looks like a cost of just under $3000. In addition, he apparently didn't see the two grounding rods outside, and added another ""complete grounding package"" at a cost of $650.
All that's missing would have been actually replacing the aluminum wires in the house...
All of this was predicated by statements of ""The inspector will require this ..."" and ""This is what Code requires..."". While it is true that new construction requires following current code, older structures are not required to be ""brought up to the current code, completely"" whenever any new work is performed.
And lastly, even though there is military service memorabilia in various places in my house, and this company advertises a military discount, the subject was not even brought up.
Is that because I'm a woman? Yes, I am the veteran.

Great service! I had Tim come out and give me some quotes, very professional, wore a mask respected the 6ft distance and gave me my pricing. I had a few things done right then and there simply because of the customer service and I felt like the price was fair. Hands down great service and I will be calling back to get that whole house surge protector!

*I usually tip the service calls, but since COVID, I don't carry cash*

★★★★★

They ran four new outlets for us. We have a 104 year old home so needless to say there is work to be done. They went through the entire house first and we told them what we were thinking and they did a quote based on that for us so we can go through and do items as we get cash on hand. We actually over paid and they called us to give money back (how often does that happen!) we asked to give it to the guys who worked the job for us but still!! That's integrity.
They are a great group! Highly recommend!!

★★★★★

From start to finish, their service was professional and hassle free. Alecia is nice, attentive and helpful. All I did was just sending her a list of items that needs to be fixed and she was quick in giving me a honest quote, scheduling the job and getting it done in a day. Most of our communications were done thru yelp and it was so easy to communicate with her. I highly recommend this company and will surely do business again! Thank you!
