I had been looking for a licensed electrician with good rates who would not try to sell me the moon. I found this company through HomeAdvisor.com. Juan came to my rescue. He was timely, explained all that was needed to complete the job and gave me a quote. He came back the next morning and completed the job fast and clean. His price was very comparable. I highly recommend him.

I made the appt for Friday at 11am. I work at night so I sleep during the day, I awoke on Tuesday to find a business card from this company on my screen door. I figured the person was in the neighborhood and stopped by, cannot blame them.. I waited until 1230 on Friday before I called the vendor and left a message in regards to the appt. I have never received a phone call back or a reschedule.. Why would someone hire a person like this. Very undependable!!!

Called, scheduled an appointment with reception for commercial electrical work replacing ballasts and lights for employee parking lot. No show, no call, no nothing. Didn't answer the main line when I called to inquire about no show, didn't respond to my voicemail. A simple, ""we're too busy to take on additional business"" would have been the professional and polite way to go.

I called, spoke to Juan on 1/5, and scheduled an appointment for 1/10 at 9 am.

No show, no call, nothing. I called and left a voicemail at 9:30 am, followed up with another calls at 10:05 am and 10:30 am (no answer both times). ZERO response after 3 hours of waiting time.

I get it, running a small business is tough. Still, blocking off my calendar and waiting for service for 3 hours and not even getting a call back is annoying.

Sorry, I will take my business elsewhere.

We recently met with Juan (the owner) we had no issues with him or him coming the next day. It was later in the evening but I did call less then 24 hours before. They had a set fee to come but nothing crazy and what ever work we did the set fee was part of the total not on top of the ""labor"" fee.

Ask for Juan. HE IS LICENSED! which makes a difference. you get the whole invoice and if you pay by Credit Card he uses his phone and you get your receipt emailed to you within 5 mins at the most. We would use him again and recommend him. THANK YOU FOR WORKKING IN WHITTIER!

He came in to replace our light switches (as we short circuited a few in our house due to someone trying to replace the dimmer switches)

I wish I would have paid more attention to Feed M's review about no one showing up. If I had, I would not have called JRG Electric. I had an appointment scheduled and no one from the company bothered to show up or call to cancel. Oh well, there are plenty of good companies out there who aren't so rude. I'm certainly marking JRG off of my list.

well to make a long story short JRG ELECTRIC is honest reliable understandable not like SCP Electric they stink like over priced crap if you need an Electrician to be hire then go with the best !!! Called Wednesday for someone to come over. Said earliest was Friday.
It's Friday night now. No one showed up.No one called to say they wouldn't be able to make it. No one answered their phone. Now I have to find a new company to come fix our electric problem. Waste of time.

Juan and his team are straight forward, hard working and competitively priced. Our small 1200 sq foot store was no challenge for JRG and when the inspector wanted something changed, JRG was there the next day and over the weekend to fix it.

JRG installed our high voltage, our low voltage and our data lines with no issues. The existing wiring was a mess and Juan didnt waste any time or money in trying fix it, he presented a plan on how to meet the designs, meet code and get it done faster and cheaper, and done right using new installation.

We are extremely happy with Juan and always welcome him back to our store, and he will surely be our electrical contract on every next job to come.
