I can't believe I haven't written a review for JP yet. I've had the pleasure of calling John out to my house multiple times because it's been great working with him. First job: I built a shed in my backyard to serve as my office, but I needed to bring power/lights to the shed. First, he was by far the cheapest of the licensed contracts I reached out to. Second, while coming up with the quote, he thoughtfully asked questions on what I was trying to achieve and offered really helpful suggestions. Thirdly, he was able to complete the job in a timely fashion. Second job: a previous electrician incorrectly installed my main panel and in the course of other housework, the city failed the inspection because of it. The other electrician ghosted me, so I called John up again and he was able to come over the same day to take a look and give me a quote. Not only was he able to correct and fix the issues the city inspector pointed out, but he also noticed a few additional things that were not up to code and fixed them as well. I'll for sure be going back to JP Electrics for any future electrical needs!

Needed to upgrade a panel to 200 amps and install an EVSE charger on the outside of the garage in the city of Anaheim. JP was prompt in responding to to my request and was willing to come out and do a free estimate. He quoted a very fair price compared to the 5 or 6 response I got.

He knows his stuff, did the job in about 3 days and the panel and EVSE passed Anaheim's harsh inspection. He took care of all the paperwork with the city and kept me informed of the whole process along the way, can't recommend enough.

We had a strange power outage in the ceiling lights in 3 rooms. JP Electrics responded quickly, and asked me to send pictures to assist in his assessment. He came out the same day and figured out there was a wiring issue affecting several switches. He was thorough yet fast in resolving the issue, and charged a reasonable rate for his time. We would recommend JP Electrics, and would use them again if needed.

I hired John for a Tesla Wall charger installation. He gave me a very competitive estimate. My installation was more difficult due to a detached garage which had a mini split. It involved running new wiring through underground conduit, and installing a sub panel. John was great at communicating, gave me various options and flexible to my requests. He worked two days in the heat and did a very clean job. All the conduit looks great, and the install itself had no problems. I am very happy with his work and would be happy to recommend to anybody who is looking for a good electrician. I'll definitely use him again in the future. Thanks John.

I had the chance to work with JP on a weird issue where a section of GFCI outlets were tripping my breaker instead of the GFCI outlet itself.

We talked and met up the next day. Very informative person and tested all he could but I couldn't replicate the situation.

He didn't want to charge because it was an odd issue and he didn't fix anything, but I still gave him $50 for the hassle to come out.

Based on this small interaction, I would recommend him as an electrician. Good guy, easy to talk to, doesn't upsell.

Purchased a Tesla Model Y 2023 and found JP Electrics to install the NEMA 14-50 outlet for the mobile charger which works great. Mr. Park is very professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and got the job done. I'm very happy with the setup and would recommend JP Electrics for all your electric needs. I was looking to upgrade my panel as I want to to add AC and an EV charger and I found JP electrics on Yelp. He responded right away and came out to give me a quote. Whenever I ran two electrical heaters the breaker would pop so he even took a look at my existing panel before telling me I needed an upgrade.

His estimate was very affordable compared to the other vendors that came out. I told him I wanted it done with a permit and he was perfectly fine with that and even went to the city and pulled the permit himself! He also didn't expect payment until after he passed the inspection (in which he did today) !


Overall I would highly recommend him for your electrical projects and I will be using him in the future.
