I needed an electrician to install a Level 2 EV charger in my garage. I choose JP because he is licensed and had the best price of all the electricians I reached out to on Yelp.

In the initial consultation, he said that my electrical panel did not have available circuit breaker spaces for the EV charger, since the top two slots were reserved for solar/pv in California. He said could remove/combine some AFCI breakers to make space. I did a bit of research and found out that I could keep the existing AFCI breakers and instead use a 50/15 quad breaker, which I told him about. He provided me recommendations on reliable, excellent EV chargers. In my case, it was best to go hard wired with GFCI built in, since the 50/15 circuit breaker does not come in GFCI variant, and in California, 240V outlets in garages need to be GFCI protected per electrical code, but there is no such thing as NEMA 14/50 GFCI outlet.

I bought the circuit breaker and the Grizzle E level 2 charger off of Amazon. It took about 2 weeks to arrive, and when it came, JP was able to come a couple of days later. The install took about 2 hours, and when it was done, I took a look at the install and it looked to be in excellent working order. I don't have an EV car to test with, since I'm only doing the installation as part of rebate program, but he did recommend that I should test it with a car within 1 year since there's a 1 year warranty on the install. This shows his integrity and desire to perform quality work. The power light was blue, the hole penetration he made through the stucco wall for the conduit was sealed with what looks like white putty, to keep out moisture/bugs/ect. He cleaned up after himself.

JP is knowledgeable, timely, well-manned, and provides quality work at the most competitive prices. I highly recommend JP for your electrical needs.

I have to say, you can't afford to miss the services from JP electrics. Mr. John Park is very professional, arrive on time and make very clean and gave me a very detailed explanation after his works. I hired him back to April this year, when I have some problem, he response right away and give me a schedule next day of my text, and he surprise me by mentioning it's under the warranty and I don't have to worry about the price. I did not know him before and I just randomly chosen him from Yelp.com. I feel I am so lucky to know him and will highly recommend his works to all people that I know. John Gave a 5 star service experience! Found him on Yelp with great reviews. He is honest and keeps his word. He helped us out of an emergency situation and gave us several options to decide from. He fixed the power going into our outlets. We lost power after a power outage and because our house is old we lost power to many of our outlets. You will not be disappointed using him.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for JP yet. I've had the pleasure of calling John out to my house multiple times because it's been great working with him. First job: I built a shed in my backyard to serve as my office, but I needed to bring power/lights to the shed. First, he was by far the cheapest of the licensed contracts I reached out to. Second, while coming up with the quote, he thoughtfully asked questions on what I was trying to achieve and offered really helpful suggestions. Thirdly, he was able to complete the job in a timely fashion. Second job: a previous electrician incorrectly installed my main panel and in the course of other housework, the city failed the inspection because of it. The other electrician ghosted me, so I called John up again and he was able to come over the same day to take a look and give me a quote. Not only was he able to correct and fix the issues the city inspector pointed out, but he also noticed a few additional things that were not up to code and fixed them as well. I'll for sure be going back to JP Electrics for any future electrical needs!
