I started this process in September of 2020 and finally committed in March of 2021. JP solar was informative patient and very accommodating through the whole process, with no high pressure sales. When the installation came around the crews where quick, clean and accommodating. The Sunpower system isn't the cheapest, but it is the most efficient. My average daily usage for June was 77KWH according to SCE and the system is far exceeding that 102-107KWH per day. I have a fairly large home and am looking forward to not having my SCE bill be $1200.00 in July and August. If I need solar for my next home JP Solar will be the one to call.

One year ago I had solar panels installed by JP Electric and the whole experience has been one of outstanding customer service and professional knowledge. I never felt pressured from the sales presentation through the contract signing, just well informed through the whole process. Installation was on schedule and they took care of getting the electric bill adjusted faster than I expected. My electric usage final bill for the whole year was $143! That was with increased usage due to staying home more (COVID-19) and decreased sunshine from bad air quality (smoke and ash) the last few months. This showed great accuracy on figuring the quantity of panels needed. Plus, they included a complimentary panel cleaning. Thank you Jeremy and the whole JP Electric team!

Getting solar panels for my home seemed like an easy process, especially with this 5 star company who does the installation for Sun Power. Unfortunately, the ratings did not match the service that I was provided for the installation of my solar panels. If you are looking for a company who will keep you updated throughout the process and keep you in the loop with what is going on, this is NOT the company to go to. I went into contract around June 2020 and final green light was given in September 2020, no big complaints here as I'm sure there's a whole lot of people looking to install solar panels. I approached my service rep, Chris Wynn, on possibly installing additional panels since I was looking to purchasing a Tesla vehicle. What I would have hoped was a response on further business, although I got the opposite & was ignored further. If I could go back to before I signed our contract, I would have chosen another company. If you are looking for low cost solar panels, but crappy service, this is the company for you. I appreciate Anna Shields for her responsive answers after multiple complaints, but overall I was very dissatisfied with this company. I was really looking forward to the 5 star service as expected to refer to my own real estate clients as well.

We did a great deal of research before committing to purchase solar panels and the highest quality panels, we determined, are produced by Sun Power. JP Electric holds the franchise for Sun Power in our area and that turned out to be a blessing. Everything JP did was professional from Jeremy's upfront presentation helping us understand the details to Jesse and his team installing the system. Very smooth installation. Then Jeremy personally helped us set up iPad so we can monitor system. Also, JP handled all coordination and paperwork with local inspections and electric company. My overall rating is 10.
