Rick is fantastic! He installed recessed lights and a few ceiling fans throughout my home. Rick is friendly, great human being, and we had fun, interesting and funny conversations most of the time while he was working on our project. Rick is honest, and will not try to nickel and dime you. His price is fair. He just loves his profession and you can see that in him. I learned a few things and picked his brain also. He didn't mind, and he enjoyed being a teacher. His price is fair, and the quality of his work is great.

Misquoted me on project timeline to start and very slow in communication. Lack of follow up is what is really driving my rating of Rick. I'd suggest to start refusing jobs if you're running behind and not bite off more than you could chew.

I actually didn't have a service call from this company. My lights were brightening and dimming in my house. I contacted other electricians and they said they wouldn't know what was going on unless they came out with a $99 minimum and that they were not available for at least a day. I called Journeyman Electrician and asked about a same day appointment. He said he didn't have one, but asked about what was going on. He then said that it's probably on SCE's side to fix it. Well, SCE showed up tonight and it was a neutral wire thingy that needs to be replaced. I bookmarked this company due to his help without asking for money and the honesty associated with that. I will definitely call for their help when I am in need. Thank you so much!

I had to write a review because Rick is super honest. Rick fixed my house that had some lights not working, and recently, my power went out in my garage, and I'm a true idiot when it comes to electricity--or most household repairs :( Basically, he advised me how to fix the problem over the phone without even coming out. I will definitely contact Rick again for any electrical needs.

I've hired and referred Rick countless times for 15 yrs. Fair prices, great work, honest, trustworthy. Professional and clean. I've left him working in my home several times and never gave it a second thought.
I first met Rick in 05 when I desperately needed second opinion on Sunday of Labor Weekend. Found him in the Pennysaver . I was trying to move my family into a fixer upper i bought in Carbon canyon and my AC and bathroom outlets weren't working. Called in electrician from phone book, $2100 he says, condenser, plus more to find short in outlets. 4 young daughters and wife with no AC or outlets...ugh, I almost paid. Picked up Pennysaver in driveway, found Rick. He reluctantly came over, Sunday was day off. Within 5 minutes he had AC on and outlets working. He Said no charge....I'm like..WHAT! frayed wires from rats at condenser, he respliced and heatshrunk, and reset outlet on Patio. Saved me $2100 just for starters. I Gave him $100, a hug, and have used him and recommended him countless times for 15 years. He has been a blessing for us from the beginning.

Excellent experience! Rick responded very fast, and always kept communicating with me before he arrived, so I don't need to stay at home for the whole morning. Rick is responsible and careful when doing his job, and he also taught me a lot about the electricity. Last but not least, he told me his rate before coming, which is very reasonable.
