Rick came to install recessed lighting in my kitchen, as well as a few other small odd jobs (replace fixtures, new outlets etc). He replaced 4 of the 5 lights (I did overlook it before he left, but it was also in the kitchen area...didn't he see it?) but left a very uneven patch job on one of the lights, now I have to pay extra for the drywall guy to come fix. He mentioned he had a dry wall guy, and would forward me the info..never heard back. He also said he would call when he could come back and finish the odd jobs-never heard back on that either. When I paid him he complained about my check (drawn on USAA) because it was out of state, one, and second because it was not cash...apparently he has issues with garnishments? I mean the lights work OK, but the lack of follow up and follow through-I guess you get what you pay for?

Had to call an electrician due to half the power in my condo went out. I found Rick who came out on a Sunday to help me out. Honest, knowledgeable electrician. I'll call him again for any further electrical work I may need. Thanks again Rick.

Called Rick on a rainy Saturday afternoon with an emergency when our lights went out. Even though he was done for the day after I explained my situation he was nice enough to come over to check it out and turns out that he's probably a lifesaver because had we left our situation alone strong possibility that our house would have caught on fire. Once he figured out what the problem was I went to work quickly repaired it and was done within an hour. His attention to detail was fantastic the quality of his work was really good did not try to upset me or get me in any way very honest fair prices. Will definitely recommend him over and over.

I phoned Rick for quote for fan wiring and install x 2. He provided a quote over the phone and then we scheduled appointment. Rick showed up on time. His work was focused and professional. It turned out that our wiring in this 30 yr old home was pretty screwed up and thanks to Rick's skills the problem was corrected and at a more than fair and reasonable price. He cleaned up everything when he was finished.. yeah!! Super personable guy. While here he gave us a quote for a few more things to be done and so he'll be back for more when time allows.
Con: Stay on top of your appointment by texting and verifying dates and times including reminders the day before. Although it's a bit of a bummer to have to do this... he's worth it.

Rick is the man! He installed a security camera at my place and it was flawless! He's very professional showed up on time! And very respectful.. He also have a good sense of humor. This guy is a real deal, he's smart and he would always figure out a way to solve any technical problem. I would get him again someday to install a chandelier And fix other stuff. Get this guy I'm telling you! You won't be disappointed.

I scheduled an appointment with this guy and he even had me text him the appointment so he would remember. I took an entire day off for him to show up, and I waited, and waited. 2 hours passed the appointment time, he still wasn't here. I then texted him and said, hi where are you? His response - ""need to reschedule to a different date"" .... What he should have done is tried to make it right since he completely effed up. Maybe something like, ""I am so sorry I will give you a 25% discount and be there tomorrow"" ....but nope, just instead it was, ""how about we reschedule after wasting your entire day"" ....Avoid this guy folks - unreliable and unprofessional. Will never attempt to go with this electrician again.

Rick is awsome. He had already done the job a few months back. But I was lazy to write a review. I found him on yelp. Ask him to come take a look at our electrical problem. From what I told him, he says it might be issue with the line from outside, problem with Edison. So I call Edison like Rick had told me. Then waited as Edison was supposed to come look. Never seen anyone. So I call again, the dispatcher says ""Oh yeah, they came out and check nothing wrong."" (Yes, Edison lied. Big time). I try to get Rick to come out, but he was too busy. So stupid me, called Nick's Electrical to take a look. Nick's brother whatever his name is came out and said I need to rewire this rewire that. Wanted to charge a $1000 here and $1000 there. And he didn't know what was wrong one light switch. Completely didn't know what he was doing. Then charged me 250 to supposedly tune up my electric panel. (I was stupid to pay that, I know).

So with nothing fixed I called Rick again. He came out, checked everything, especially the electric panel, and find issues that must be from Edison. So call Edison again. They came out the next day this time, checked, sure enough. The line had issue from outside to our panel. The came, dig through and replaced the line. Free of charge!

So call Rick again to look at the issues inside the house. Went through, easy stuff, replace a few wire caps, tighten some connections, and problems fixed! Total bill: $100.

Lessons learned: Rick is honest, knows his stuff, and won't charge you stuff not necessary.

Also lessons learned: Edison lies! and Nick's Electric are scammers.

Rick did a great job installing my smoke detectors and a new fan in my den. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and charged a very fair price. The work that he did is wonderful and everything is working well. I will hire him again for any future electric needs.
