BUYER BEWARE !!!!
I give David Jones (specifically) and Jones A/C ZERO Stars. My A/C and pool heater unit were both installed by Jones A/C in May 2014. In July of this year, a 40' Royal Palm in my front yard, took a direct lightening strike, damaging numerous electrical appliances, my pool heat pump one of them.

I called Jones A/C (as the original installer) to assess the damage, ideally to have at least parts covered by warranty. He comes the sad part.... over a FOUR week period, David Jones made 4 different promises to come to the house. He never showed up or even had the courtesy to call me that he was not coming on 3 of those occasions. I took off work for one, missed a band function for my daughter on another, etc.... Each time..... I HAD TO CALL HIM, to find out why is was not able to keep his promise. He kept telling me ""I am so busy"". WELL DON'T KEEP MAKING PROMISES TO CUSTOMERS WHO ARE RELYING ON YOUR HONESTY, INTEGRITY, AND SERVICE! Obviously I was not a priority for him. When he finally arrived to assess the damage end of Aug. (I was not able to be there), he told my wife he could not fix it. I had to call him again to discuss options and he said he would get back to me ""within the week"". Shockingly, he LIED TO ME AGAIN and I had to call him this past Sat, 1 Sept '18. He knew it was me when he answered his phone.

Then he did something I never would have expected. He gave the number of HIS COMPETITOR to call instead.

Thank you Mr. Jones, for wasting my time over these last five weeks, waiting for you to provide the expected level of service for an installed customer. In the service industry, customers trust businesses based on their integrity and their word..... the value of yours are very low in my opinion and I warn other potential customers to BEWARE...

Set up an appointment sevral days ahead to get my A/C system serviced; they never showed up. Called to inquire about what the problem was and ask why they couldn't have at least called me to let me know if they were or were not coming. The dispatcher said, ""...hey i don't know why the tech didn't show; dont take it out on me..."" Unbelievable, apparently a customer is not allowed to ask a simple question about their service (or lack thereof) without their employee (dispatcher/receptionist) flying off the handle. Hey Mr. Jones, pay attention and train your staff.

Our air conditioning went out on Friday, late in the afternoon. We called Jones Air Conditioning, and Mr. Jones, himself, came out to our house within 90 minutes. Mr. Jones arranged for a crew to come out on SATURDAY, the next day, to do a full replacement (which was much needed, as the unit we had was VERY old). Jones Air Conditioning had been recommended to me by every neighbor I had at Wyndemere Country Club. My neighbors were right. Very professional. Very courteous. Very reasonable in their prices. I can't imagine using any other company.

We recently purchased a home in Naples and Jones A/C was recommended to us and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Dave and his team were extremely professional and helpful, and Dave was so knowledgeable and informative and would always keep me up to date as to what was being done. He was so patient in explaining how pieces were installed and how they worked I felt I had a true grasp of the entire process! Dave suggested changing out the AC vents to vents that you can adjust which made a huge difference in the way air moved around the house which was a huge energy saver. He also changed the high hat fixtures to sealed LED light fixtures which now do not let cold air escape into the attic and stops dust and dirt from coming through the fixture- it also puts out extremely great light for a very low cost compared. I am planning on using Dave and his service for any future needs, and would highly recommend his service to anyone who wants a great job completed in their home.

Living in Florida, means your HVAC system is running at least nine months out of the year. I have used several HVAC companies for maintenance and repair of our unit. I stayed with Jones because generally when I call, I speak with David personally and am very happy with his hospitable nature and the time that he spends educating me on the issues with our HVAC system. Not only personally, but there are many helpful videos on You Tube. There have been occasions between scheduled maintenance that our unit has either quit running or is not running as cold as I think it should. David will ask me a few simple questions about what the system is or is not doing and then educates me on how to prevent a costly service call. I am always impressed with his concern for saving ""you"" the consumer money, while ensuring you are adequately protected through our annual maintenance contract or the ten year warranty that came with the unit we purchased from Jones Air Conditioning. A lot of issues with our unit are generally due to wear and tear on the unit, due to the unrelenting heat that we have in this area, so yes there are costs involved sometimes, but we are very happy with David's knowledge of not only Air Conditioning, but he has assisted us with specifications for a new heating and cooling system in our Northern Home. I am very confident in the work that he or his employees perform on our equipment and ductwork and am pleased with the cost incurred for their service.

I am a new home owner here in Naples. David Jones was recommended to me by two friends and I am SO glad to have hired him. I needed a new A/C system with relocation and removal of the old system. I had a few estimates which were all in the same ballpark, but David had done the exact job I needed in a neighbor's home and was familiar with the work that needed to be done. EXCELLENT crew and work. Prompt, professional, polite, neat and explained every bit of every part of the job to me. Several years ago David Jones was very helpful and considerate to his customers. As his business as grown, unfortunately he has lost that touch. In December, while my father was in MD visiting his family, tenants in a condo he owns complained about the A/C unit. My father, having used David Jones for years, called him. His technicians said the Freon was low and said he could replace the unit for $3,900 or add 8 lbs of Freon for $800. He was told testing for a leak was additional cost and that he wouldn't be able to find the source. Not being there and wanting happy tenants, my father paid the $800 and within 2 weeks all the Freon was gone. He went to another vendor who went out, did a simple test, immediately found the source of the leak and because of the age of the unit recommended a new unit, which is what my father is now doing. Refusing to find the source of the leak within the initial visit was unethical and a bad business practice. A simple test would have a) saved my father $800 and b) given David Jones the business on the new A/C unit. He has since moved on to another vendor.
