Responsiveness
Hired this company to address problems with the ductwork in our air conditioning fir a house we just purchased last year. Spent over $4000. I was having the same problem this year and hired a different company to take a look. There was a duct that had spilt open and was blowing cold air into the attic because it was not supported properly and the zone damper system was not installed properly and was never wired so it had no power. Stay away. Dishonest company

Davis Jones AC is one of those rare companies in which the owner is still involved and works side by side with his employees.
David gave me a fair estimate for new AC after the recent hurricane in Marco, unfortunately the insurance company decided to go with the cheapest bid! Well as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. The hack job of an install left no doubts that I needed the help of Jones AC.

I called Jones AC and spoke to Tina, she immediately scheduled a service call to diagnose the issue and repair the problem. Joseph the technician installed a hard start kit but the initial problem continued.
Fast forward a week and I have David and his electrician Bill working on the problem.

If you need expert help and fair prices Jones AC is the only one to call. Old fashion customer service and experience are top priority at Jones AC.

One star, didn't even deserve that. We had an appt for 9-11am for electrician to come out to give an estimate & than install if estimate was accepted. Called company at 11:00am & they tell me first they had computer problems and thought the tech was suppose to come out in the afternoon. The next comment was that the tech had 2 emergency calls this morning so will not be able to come out at all today. They had my cell phone number as well as my email address and no communication that the tech was not coming, we had to reach out to them. I understand emergency situations but give the customer a heads up so they can go on with their day if they are unable to make the appointment.

I have used Jones AC on numerous occasions. Dave Jones, the owner, has always come through for me and I can't say enough good things about him. I have referred him to numerous clients who have all been thrilled. Not only was his service timely but his prices were fair. Yes, I can agree that Dave is a busy man, but that's because he is on site at knots every job throughout the day to ensure a good project. He also meets with the building inspector personally at the time of inspection. I have tried numerous air conditioning companies and each one came with a new set of problems. I'll continue to call Dave for all my AC needs and refer him to my clients.

BUYER BEWARE !!!!
I give David Jones (specifically) and Jones A/C ZERO Stars. My A/C and pool heater unit were both installed by Jones A/C in May 2014. In July of this year, a 40' Royal Palm in my front yard, took a direct lightening strike, damaging numerous electrical appliances, my pool heat pump one of them.

I called Jones A/C (as the original installer) to assess the damage, ideally to have at least parts covered by warranty. He comes the sad part.... over a FOUR week period, David Jones made 4 different promises to come to the house. He never showed up or even had the courtesy to call me that he was not coming on 3 of those occasions. I took off work for one, missed a band function for my daughter on another, etc.... Each time..... I HAD TO CALL HIM, to find out why is was not able to keep his promise. He kept telling me ""I am so busy"". WELL DON'T KEEP MAKING PROMISES TO CUSTOMERS WHO ARE RELYING ON YOUR HONESTY, INTEGRITY, AND SERVICE! Obviously I was not a priority for him. When he finally arrived to assess the damage end of Aug. (I was not able to be there), he told my wife he could not fix it. I had to call him again to discuss options and he said he would get back to me ""within the week"". Shockingly, he LIED TO ME AGAIN and I had to call him this past Sat, 1 Sept '18. He knew it was me when he answered his phone.

Then he did something I never would have expected. He gave the number of HIS COMPETITOR to call instead.

Thank you Mr. Jones, for wasting my time over these last five weeks, waiting for you to provide the expected level of service for an installed customer. In the service industry, customers trust businesses based on their integrity and their word..... the value of yours are very low in my opinion and I warn other potential customers to BEWARE...

Set up an appointment sevral days ahead to get my A/C system serviced; they never showed up. Called to inquire about what the problem was and ask why they couldn't have at least called me to let me know if they were or were not coming. The dispatcher said, ""...hey i don't know why the tech didn't show; dont take it out on me..."" Unbelievable, apparently a customer is not allowed to ask a simple question about their service (or lack thereof) without their employee (dispatcher/receptionist) flying off the handle. Hey Mr. Jones, pay attention and train your staff.

Our air conditioning went out on Friday, late in the afternoon. We called Jones Air Conditioning, and Mr. Jones, himself, came out to our house within 90 minutes. Mr. Jones arranged for a crew to come out on SATURDAY, the next day, to do a full replacement (which was much needed, as the unit we had was VERY old). Jones Air Conditioning had been recommended to me by every neighbor I had at Wyndemere Country Club. My neighbors were right. Very professional. Very courteous. Very reasonable in their prices. I can't imagine using any other company.
