If I could give Frank, the owner of Jonathan electric 10 stars, I would. It is rare these days to find a contractor with such a high level of integrity, professionalism, reliability and friendliness. I had to upgrade my home electrical panel since it was very old and some of the breakers malfunctioned. I selected Jonathan Electric for the job after I saw the excellent reviews Frank has on Yelp and I'm so happy I did. Frank's quote for the job was fair and competitive. The job required multiple appointment, permits and inspection as well as electrical and general construction details. Frank did all of it, took care of every small detail and went out of his way to keep me posted throughout the project. Every step of the project happened exactly as he said, he always texted me to let me know when to expect him and he was always on time with no exceptions. When I had technical questions, Frank was happy to answer them. After such a positive experience I have no doubt I will call Frank for any future electrical job I will have.

I called Frank to give us a quote on re-wiring our kitchen and as we were in the process of demolishing the old kitchen and re-doing the entire thing. The great thing is that Frank is a licensed contractor and he took a quick peek at the kitchen soffit to confirm it had no load bearing components before we took it down and raised our ceiling height by a foot.

Frank's prices were very reasonable, as compared the 3 other quotes we received, that we actually added to the project by having him do 8 more recessed lights with dimmers (6 for living room and 2 for kitchen eating nook).


I will have no hesitation calling Frank out for when we decide to do recessed lights in our formal living room and fans in our bedrooms.

If you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable electrician, Frank is definitely your guy. Frank took on a large electrical rewire project in our 1960's home, and did it flawlessly. He is incredibly responsive, patient, and gets the job done efficiently and at a competitive price. You can tell he has a plan, and treats your home with the same respect you would as the homeowner.

My wife and I highly recommend Frank for any electrical or GC project you may have.

Based on all of these reviews, I had high hopes for this company. I messaged on Yelp for a quote. Prompt enough email reply, within two hours, asked me to text my address to schedule a time to stop by for a proper quote. Immediately sent text with address. That was two days ago. *crickets*. No reply. Unpleasantly surprised based on ALL of these amazing 5 star reviews.

Frank checks all the boxes when it comes to finding a reliable electrician. His pricing was very fair and he had a great attitude. I had him install a few caseta switches that I had unsuccessfully tried to do myself and provided a solution for a dual switch single light that had stumped me. Good guy and fantastic service.
