Johnson Electric began its journey in the early 1950s under the leadership of J.B. ""Jimmy"" Johnson. For many years, he and his son Cliff managed the business, building a notable fleet of distinctive green work trucks. While that fleet is gone, we strive to deliver the same level of service that founded our company, one that builds customer loyalty for life.
In the fall of 2018, Cliff took a well-deserved retirement from his day-to-day duties at Johnson Electric. Soon after, his son, Isaac Johnson, left, to focus on his new family and a career as a microbrewer.
In January 2021, Cliff Johnson's daughter, Amy Robbins (Johnson), along with her husband, Matt Robbins, a dedicated employee of Johnson Electric, assumed their roles in the operation of Johnson Electric, ushering in the next generation while upholding the same core family values and principles established since the beginning in 1952.
Matthew and Amy Robbins took ownership of Johnson Electric in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. They continue to run the business with the same principles and ethics that her father and grandfather instilled in this family-run business from the beginning.

Very happy with all my projects completed! Great customer service, very efficient, would recommend them and totally use them again!

Had a strong smell of burnt plastic iny garage and half the outlets in my kitchen not working. Their tech came out and diagnosed the problem (burnt breaker), had it fixed in no time and back up and running. Great price and great service, would recommend and use again!

My pool equipment stopped working. Call Johnson Electric around noon on a Friday and he responded within an hour. He came out within an hour and got my equipment running again. Great guy. Definitely will use him again.

Johnson's electric did a great job. Were very responsive and the price was what I had gotten from several other electricians. They were able to come within a week and I was pleased with their work.

Johnson Electric has served our family for over 50 years. Cliff is a very trustworthy and knowledgeable in his field. He is highly recommended.

Installed a 240 Volt power run for our spa. Arrived on time, excellent workmanship. Great attention to detail. Very careful protecting carpets where they needed inside access. Cleaned up completely after finishing the job. Highly recommend this company.

Johnson Electric is a company you can trust to do the job right. I live in a house from the 1940's which offers unique challenges to all the trades. Cliff, Isaac, and Matt are up to the challenge! Over time, we've had them add new exterior outlets, trouble shoot problems, add new circuits, install ceiling fans (even through a concrete ceiling!) and install new lighting fixtures. They are hard workers, really pleasant (even with hot attics!), and technically very proficient.
