I needed ceiling fans installed in my house but the wiring was not set up for that. Virgil from Johnson electric gave a quote knowing it was going to be a challenge and stuck to it. His team expertly ran wiring from the panel and into the rooms and gave extra wiring for outside lighting I wanted in the future. Now we have ceiling fans in all four rooms making the summer time much more bearable. I recommend these guys for any job you may need. Very kind, insightful and honest!

We had been looking for an electrician for a week and had called a few places but no return calls. We decided to call Johnson Electric not expecting immediate service but Virgil & Shawn arrived within 40 minutes after hanging up the phone. They were both professional and fixed our GFCI problem in the garage. We were charged the going average rate and were just thankful they were able to deliver same day service. Thanks guys for outstanding service!

Johnson Electric Co, Inc came through for us again. Provided troubleshooting service and repair for my residential address light as well as landscape light. Fit me in his busy schedule within one business day. Carried the supplies he needed with him, so there was no ordering of parts or running back to his shop. Convenient payment options. Highly recommend!

The electricity in my law office went off in half the office space. We had no light in the conference room, my office and most of the outlets were out. I first called SDGE in and their tech told me that something was burned out. I forget the name of the part, but it looked pretty well fried! So, I asked the SDGE guy if he knew of any good and honest electicians in the area- and he recommended Johnson Electric. I'm really glad I called them. They came over- we took an early lunch as an office- by the time we came back, the lights were back on and we were back in operation. He stuck to his initial quote even though it seemed to be quite a bit of work. I highly recommend him.

They did the work which was ok, the reason for the low score is their dwindle into charging a higher price than Red Beacon. If you don't know Red Beacon is the website of contractors from Home Depot. I chose Johnson because they were local, wanted to support our community. When I asked for an estimate, the guy on the phone said he'd have to come out and take a look. When the guy arrived, we looked at the repair job, I asked for a quote, he said we'd have to wait.
He finally gave me one, $55 more than Red Beacon. He was able to bring it down to $10 more than Red Beacon.
Bottom line, use Red Beacon.
This is an update to his comment regarding driving an unreasonable amount of miles for money that was double the Home Depots Pros.
How many times can a customer ask for a price quote? Before work began I asked how much, he said he couldn't say. I asked when the fan was off, he said still too soon to know. Then when the work was completed he gives the price. Oh wow thanks for the option. 37 years doing electrical work and you can't tell after all that experience what could be triggering the fan to wobble? There was no noise, it's not a robot fan or something the human race has never seen before. So I don't understand how he couldn't give me a quote. 37 years and he couldn't understand the scenario? Wow, save your money and go somewhere that understands basic concepts. I bet if I ask the waiter how long till my food is ready he's not going to tell me the answer as I'm chewing it. Nice try Virgil.
Oh and why he had to drive 2 miles? Because the amount quoted was more than I had estimated for the money in my pocket from Red Beacon.
