Ken, the owner responded quickly to my call. He actually talked me through my problem without having to dispatch an electrician thus saving me the cost of a service call. That gesture alone indicates that Johnson electric is a business that cares. Putting profit behind just wanting to do ""the right thing"". Very admirable in this world we live in.

Johnson Electric is our go-to electrician. Ken's pricing is reasonable and he's very communicative. Ken and his guys do great work. They replaced our electrical panel and even our insurance agent complimented the work and said the price was reasonable. They've also installed new outlets and lights for us. A good experience every time.

Ken and his team did a great job rewiring my 1924 house and upgrading my electrical panel. His pricing is completely transparent and he's good about keeping you updated. His team is clean and professional and I had no reservations about leaving them alone in my house for several days. Make sure you ask Ken for his ""how electricity works"" lesson. It was SO helpful!

Ken's guys did a very good job installing a ceiling outlet and roughing low voltage wire and for a fairly reasonable cost.

They are pros and I would use them again.

When I thought (incorrectly) that my speaker wires were having problems he offered to come out if in the area. I thought he was just saying he would but he called the very next day to set it up. I ended up not needing them to come out but it was really appreciated that he offered.

Hired Ken and his team for a complete knob and tube rewire of our historic 1911 home as well as installation of LED trim kits, a ceiling fan and some light fixtures. The cost v scope and quality of the work was the best value I've seen as a new homeowner. All members of the company, from the on-site techs to Ken were friendly, hard-working, responsive and communicated well. All tasks, estimates and invoicing were clear, concise, and open to questions and discussion. It was a rewarding and satisfying experience which one does not usually expect from contractor projects. Had Johnson Electric come out for a complete rewire of the house a while back and just getting round to the yelp review, because he totally deserves my time and energy for a good review.

I've owned my home for 15 years and have added on as well as had a complete landscape re-do, so I do have quite a bit of experience with the good, the bad and the ugliest of contractors.

These guys fall into the good camp. This guy doesn't do any of the work himself anymore, I don't think, but he has a very good team working for him. This actually leaves him free to take phone calls and go out to make bids, answer questions, etc.

I really liked that he billed by the item, not all electricians do this. I got a ""quote"" from another general contractor who was already at the house doing some insurance work and his bid was roughly 30% higher. I say roughly because they were billing by time, so who knows what the actual cost would have been. I just don't play like that, sorry.

The guys were punctual, professional and courteous the work was done in a timely manner. They are tidy and respectful. If someone is looking for more from an electrician, they should probably have their brain rewired instead of their house!

I called to replace a ceiling fan and combo smoke detector. The service was quick in getting to my house and just as fast installing the 2 items.
