I have been trying to track down a faulty line for 4 years!! My lights would flicker sporadically, and I couldn't find the problem. Within 15 minutes they found it and resolved the issue. The lead technician was clearly training an apprentice, and he was a great teacher too, very thorough. I'd recommend them to ANYONE!!

Not a surprise that there's other poor reviews of this guy. We gave him a list of things that needed to be done at a rental property - he didn't do them, but came back to us instead with additional items he claimed needed to be done. When we asked him for a quote, he became flippant, defensive, and passive/aggressive.
When I confronted him about treating customers the way he was treating us, his response was ""hey, I have people begging me to do jobs for them, I just took this job as a favor to you - and frankly, your sense of entitlement expecting me to have the job done on your timeline doesn't work for me"". I really couldn't believe he was actually saying this - it was almost as if it was a practical joke. He was completely unapologetic and seemingly unaware that this is not the way a customer should be treated. That was just yesterday, and already at this time today, we've been in communication with another electrician that is friendly helpful courteous and respectful.
There's plenty of good electricians out there that are respectful and appreciate their customers, this guy is not that person. Keep looking.

Unlike other reviewers, I had a good experience with Johnson Electric. Terry the owner, was quick to respond to me through the website, Home Advisor. Within 10 min I received a call from Terry.

Terry, was professional and on time. I had a small job of replacing some lighting. Terry completed the job quickly and i believe his rate was very fair for an electrician.

I was very happy with his service and will definitely use him again for my electrician needs.

1 star rating is to good for this guy, but its the lowest I can go. I requested a quote for a small job and was told what his rate is per minute ($1.50). I said okay because I was sure the work would not exceed 15 minutes. Well he had an apprentice do the work while he did some calculations on his phone and charged me $76.43 for 10 minutes of work. I will NEVER use this guy again. Be wary of him before using. Price changes after work completed. Wish I could have done the work myself.

I needed to have an electrical outlet installed in my kitchen so that I can replace my old range which was hardwired into the electricity with a new range that I could just plug into the wall. Well, The price of the job Went up about $100 because he needed a special transformer that would Lengthen the wires so that he could install the outlet......!!! Well he wrapped up the job and left.
The next morning I went to try to push the Stove closer to the wall and It wouldn't go back, so I took a flashlight to check it out and on the back of the stove there was still a big hardwired Box behind my stove!! Only now I can't push the stove flush to the wall!

When I called him to talk to him about it first of all he said that I WOULD NOT understand the complicated process and he could not put an outlet there like I wanted so he put the transformer on so the stove wires could be put into the transformer instead of plugging it into the wall. WHAAAAAT!! He was very unreasonable and hard to talk to so I decided just to write it off, and keep my anger under control.
He was dishonest deceptive and untrustworthy. I would NOT recommend this company!!!

A quote for services was provided but, during the service call the price was increased over a hundred dollars! We certainly would not have had Johnson Electric had we known the price increase!

Johnson Electric and Controls did an excellent job with the electrical for my room addition. They were very efficient and trustworthy. They also cleaned up some wiring in the attic that was done improperly by a previous electrician. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.
