Hooray! Johnny and Josh not only removed and installed a new bathroom vanity (which they picked up for me), they patched and painted the walls. They also rebuilt a bedroom closet and helped me return building materials I did not need. What a joy to have a handyman that can accommodate a variety of requests, is flexible and pleasant to work with. I'll be using Johnny on the Spot again!

Johnny installed a new pipe to my in ground spa. I asked him to paint it to prevent rust and prevent the pipe from touching the wall (an inspection finding and the reason I wanted the pipe replaced). The pipe was rusting after only 2 weeks and it has now been 4 months and is badly rusting. I was questioning why Johnny didn't paint it initially, but when he left, he told me to call him if anything came up. I asked Johnny to return to paint the pipe and get it away from the wall so will not cause a issue in my next inspection. He said it would be $150 to fix/paint. Johnny also installed new screening in my attic. The new screen was extremely flimsy & prone to holes. The work in total already cost me over $500 and took less than 2 hours, so there is no way I am willing to spend another $150. I believe I was taken advantage of with the price I paid with the work done.

Johnny just finished a ""shopping list"" of items for my townhome. He was pleasant, patient, thorough and was on time. He did live up to his trade name ""Johnny on the Spot"". He did drywall, painting, electrical and carpentry work for me. He custom built a TV antenna stand for my balcony. My home was built in the 1970s (kinda old). There were obstacles that he was able to overcome. For example all ceiling lights did not have the proper electrical box to mount my ceiling lights on. Johnny installed new electrical boxes and painted and mounted my lights on the ceiling. They look great!!! I am very happy with his work and he charged me a fair price too. I would recommend him for work in your home.

If you aren't concerned about aesthetics too much, then this handyman is fine. My wall (in a very conspicuous place) has a dent in it and poor quality texture--totally noticeable. This after three tries. I was not consulted about the location of this necessary patch before-hand either. Also, the selection of hardware to finish off the exterior door and the hose bibb outside did not match the style or color of the home, and ultimately was just painted over when I questioned it. A brand new latch with paint over it? In addition, he got into a heated exchange with his partner, was overall in a big rush, and created unnecessary tension in the home.
