Residential electrical problems can be truly worrisome and getting them properly repaired can be a scary proposition. Having someone come into your home to make repairs only to learn they were incompetent can cause a person to lose sleep wondering if hazards were actually introduced into their home's electrical system while it was being ""repaired"".

Many, many years ago my late Mother hired John to do some electrical work which she was very happy with and from that day forward recommended John to anyone she knew that was in need of a skilled and experienced electrician. Years later my sister utilized John's services to install some ceiling fans and has been quite happy with the work ever since . I have known John for years, decades in fact and he had a solid reputation as an electrician in the community that far back.

Recently , my sister and her husband were in need of a real trouble shooter to come out to the house and track down the source of some strange outages in several outlets. Electricians had been out to the house in the past, but they failed to locate the problem, let alone repair it.

John arrived at the house on the day and at the time he said he would and within 5 minutes ( 10 minutes tops ) had tracked down the issue; something was wired incorrectly in the kitchen years ago, something that could have eventually started a fire. He quickly isolated the problem, one that had been missed by other electricians in the recent past.

I feel safe in saying that John McCraw is an electrician that will do his best to make sure you don't lose sleep at night worrying about the safety and soundness of the electrical system and related fixtures in your home. His skill and expertise is self evident ; he has to be among the very best in his trade in the SCV. Thanks for another great job, John!

John and his crew are the preferred electricians for our area of the dealer we recently purchased a hot tub from. John was easy to get a hold of, answered voicemails promptly, and was easy to coordinate with in order to get everything ready in preparation for delivery of the hot tub. His crew was on time, efficient, conscientious about cleanup, and they did a great job overall. John followed up with a phone call a few days later to confirm that we were satisfied clients. Needless to say, we are.

Called, John answered the phone, told him a GFCI plug I had was not working, told him I had tried to reset, checked the breaker, didn't understand what was wrong but needed help. He said he would send Mike and he would be there shortly. About 45 minutes later Mike and his son ""Michael"" arrived at my house. They were awesome, $85 for the service and a small amount to replace a GFCI plug. Mike told me I didn't have to replace it but I told him to please go ahead and do it. I was very satisfied with the whole process.

Will be using them again to do some other work.
