We contacted Joel Foy Electrical to install six recessed lights throughout our home. Jacob and Nate arrived on time, they were courteous, professional, and efficient. I would definitely contact them again for any future electrical service we may need.

However, with that said, we did end up having to pay an additional $30 because our check was lost in the mail. When I was notified by Joel Foy's billing department that the payment had not yet been received we were told that it had been an ongoing issue in that they had not been receiving payments from other customers for the same reason over a period of several months. This problem could have been mentioned sooner so that we could have paid by other means. They do not accept payment at the time of service, but had we known about their mailing issue we would have been able to avoid cancelled check fees from our bank.

This company performed a small job of running a ceiling line in my attic from one part of the room's ceiling to the center of the room and installing an electrical outlet box for eventually installation of a light fixture. There was some disagreement over which switch would control the new box, which I attempted to resolve with a phone call after the job was complete. The vendor was adamant and, frankly, quite rude. They closed ranks around their position, then lashed out at me in a subsequent email, accusing me of a lack of integrity. Funny, because their own invoice charged me for installation of the light fixture which I installed myself a couple of days after their botched job.

They came out to take care of some bad wiring, and to fix outlets, and get power to another outlet, that had been disconnected at the panel, for whatever reason.....

I called Joel Foy Electrical Service because I needed three new ceiling fans installed in my house and they sent someone out to do the job the very next day. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He arrived right on time and got the job done in less than two hours. He explained to me how the fans operated, how to install new bulbs whenever they will be needed and was very courteous. He left my house just as clean as it was before he started and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. The company also followed up a couple of weeks after the service to make sure everything was still working properly and that I was satisfied with their service before emailing me an invoice. The price was extremely reasonable and I even got a senior discount! I was able to pay my bill online by credit card, which was very convenient. I will definitely be calling them the next time I need an electrician and will be recommending them to my family and friends.

We have used this company for a couple of minor jobs. We recently contacted them regarding a larger job and an electrician was sent to review the job. Since that time, we have not been able to get a response from them despite four phone messages and four promises that someone would call us back. If they are unable to do the job, they should at least so advise.
