Jesse is the kind of electrician you want to have! So, after suffering from that horrible flood back in March of 2023 (yes the terrible atmospheric river flood), I desperately needed work done on my damaged house. I needed to have an electrician install a 240 volt outlet so that I could change from my gas stove to an electric one because my house almost BLEW UP! Yes, the horrible hard water due to the agriculture eats through pipes like crazy! I did not realize this ( I am originally from San Francisco where the water is great from Yosemite) until I lifted my totally corroded gas pipe! SCARRY! The pipe lifter out and was totally corroded and just feel apart as I lifted it up! I was like WTF???? Thus, I felt NO MORE GAS TO MY HOUSE! I figured ELECTRIC ONLY. CALLED PG&E and had them cut off all gas to my house.

But now, I had to get my flood insurance check and find a licensed electrician . Easy, right??? NOT!!! I had to to wait for OVER 1 YEAR AND THREE MONTHS and go through SIX other electricians to finally find a nice, cool, and TRUSTWORTHY electrician, Jesse!

Background: So, back in March of 2023 my neighborhood was flooded with over 3 feet of water from the ""Atmospheric river storm"". Salinas and many Surrounding areas were cut off due to extreme flooding and damage. Needless to say, when the weather settled many people needed electricians, plumbers, and contractors! It was a nightmare to schedule and find an available contractor since they were swamped and able to pick the larger monetary projects.

Further, I was waiting to get a check from my flood insurance and find a trustworthy contractor and electrician.

All I can say, there are A LOT OF shady contractors and electricians out there to give you the run around, extract high estimates, play around with returning your deposit (pay with a credit card & NOT with cash) when you cancel a project due to questions of their work or whatever.

Sorry for the long review, but do yourself a huge favor and GO WITH JESSE! He is a very nice, reasonable, and a TRUSTWORTHY electrician! I knew after a few minutes of meeting him and talking with him, who was a referral from a GREAT PLUMBER, Franky ""At Your Service Plumping"" that installed my hybrid electric water heater that JESSE would be a totally solid electrician. Shout out to Franky and JESSE! Thus, the dynamic duo of JESSE & FRANKY!!!!!

Again, make the peace of mind decision and go with JESSE!!!!!

As a general contractor, my job is to critique subcontractors and I can be quite critical.
Jesse was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and affordable considering industry standards. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Called for service. A person answered the phone, I explained the things I needed done and the person who answered the phone gave me the next available date and time he would be available. I agreed to this and we set the date/time. Waited on the agreed upon date/time and the person never showed up or called to say why he couldn't/wouldn't show up. I guess this electric service does not put any value on a homeowner's time or schedule. Went with one in Morgan Hill that actually shows up at the scheduled date/time.

This has to be one of the ALL time worst experiences I had. Before Covid-19, I used Jesse to fix an electric issue left behind by an incompetent electrician. He was sharp and I was impressed with his skills.

Two months ago, I contacted Jesse again to have him set up electrics for a water treatment. He got it done all right, but accidently cut the wire that connects the power to the sunroom. Here comes the horrible part. I called and texted him NUMERIOUS time trying to get him back to fix the issue, but the efforts all failed. There is no response to the calls (cannot leave VM either as the mailbox is full) and texts whatsoever. I contacted another electrician who reconnected the wire in a jiffy but costed me $120. I then sent Jesse an email asking for the reimbursement. To my surprising, he responded, albeit the last time.

However, as of today I am still waiting for that elusive check, LOL. To me, this is an integrity issue. He's simply a liar and cannot be trusted.

Jesse is top-tier. Regardless of your electrical issue, rest assured that he will get it done quickly, neatly, and safely. The subcontractors he brings in for other work (drywall, etc.) are all very talented and professional, so rest assured you're in good hands. I have had him work on my home multiple times, and each time has been a great experience.

Jesse is great! I texted him asking if he could hang a fan on 17ft ceilings, and he came the next day. His pricing was very fair and he was here for only an hour or so. My new fan looks great! He was kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely be calling him again for more electrical needs. Thanks JMG electric!

We had a smoke detector that wouldn't stop chirping even after changing the battery and resetting. I called and spoke with Jesse and he helped me over the phone but we still weren't able to get it to stop chirping. He came To our house despite it being a holiday and replaced our smoke detector quickly and affordably. I can't thank Jesse enough for helping us out - we will definitely contact him for more electrical work we are needing to get done. Highly recommend!!
