I owe Jim this late post review! Out of 5 companies, I called this company and Jim called me back almost right away! I spoke to Jim the owner/tech and we set up a date and time. He arrived on time and some how I knew, I had the right man for the job. I asked him to install an ac outlet for two of my flat screen tvs and extra outlets for wiring HDMI and sound cables behind the wall to make it look clean! He finalized the job and even showed me how the electricians who built my home did not take the time to properly wire some of the AC outlets clean and effective. He rewired the outlets, made sure they were all working, channeled all the wiring behind the wall to give that clean professional look. He did warn me that he had to cut the sheetrock , small squares but that could be patched later and it was the thing to do to make it look clean. I agreed, I asked him to take a look at a problem with a braker on my garage and said I needed to add another direct outlet because my compressor draws too much juice and keeps popping the breaker. He had to cut some of the sheetrock to get the job done right, added a dedicated outlet, put the sheetrock back and problem solved. He quoted me a decent price for each outlet and solved every problem one at a time. He did cut the sheetrock because there was no way around that but I already called someone who came to patch it all up, textured and painted it, looks clean and all my outlets work without any issues. I plan on calling Jim again! Other contractors were charging me tripple or quatruple what Jim quoted me! He is one of the few old school technicians who has the experience to show for and prefers to have customers call him again than lose a customer for being greedy and over pricing his work! You wont regret calling Jim!

John is just amazing. He solved 2 big problems for me with a minimum of effort ( from me. John works hard and is really diligent). And saved me a ton of money. Don't know what building codes were in 1953, when my house was built, but they were very poorly adhered to. John came through for me and we are beyond happy

John is great! This is my second review (did one over 4 years ago) - he was wonderful then and is still wonderful now. He was only going to come out to give us a estimate and then make a follow up appointment. Our old hot water heater ""burst"" on Christmas night and wasn't repairable. We had to purchase a new one and opted to have a pump (didn't know we needed a nearby outlet until after the water heater was installed - very shady). I called John yesterday 1/10/22 he came out today 1/11/22 and actually installed the outlet!! He is reasonably priced, trustworthy and knows his stuff!! It's rare these days to find someone like him. Thank you John!!!

John (the owner) fixed what turned out to be a minor issue.

Then I asked him to look at another issue (an outlet that wasn't working). He gave me very good advice about options to fix the outlet (a high-price option he didn't recommend and a lower-price option. He also explained why the previous homeowner's renovations probably created a mess to fix it if I pursued the high-price option) but made it clear that since I wasn't using the outlet much that it would be reasonable to do nothing. In other words, he wasn't pushing unnecessary repairs on me and seemed motivated to make sure I got what was best for me.

He bills a minimum for the first hour (which is totally reasonable and industry standard), and since he still had time in that hour after working on the above two issues, he asked whether I had other things to be addressed (in other words, on his own, he made sure I got the most out of that 1-hour fee). So I had him take a look at another thing, which again turned out to be minor.

There was still a bit of time in that hour, so he again asked me if there was anything else to work on!

John was clearly interested in giving me the best service within his reasonable fees.

On top of it, he was very personable (sharing stories about his family) and humorous.

John installed a new electric panel for me. He took care of everything including scheduling inspections with the city and PG&E. Throughout the process he was very communicative and responsive. He is honest and trustworthy and I was completely satisfied with his work.

John is the best. I lost power in half of the house including the electric stove. This was two weeks before Christmas and he was booked past New Years. But knowing the situation made an effort to keep in contact and let me know if any openings came up. Sure enough he had an opening a couple of days later and the power is back.
