I needed a home electrical inspection on a very short deadline and John not only picked up his phone on vacation, but scheduled an appointment for 8am the first day back from his vacation. We called John to help finish a DIY project we'd started & couldn't finish, installing an overhead light (the light switch was connected to an outlet, and the outlet had many, many confusing wires!). He came within an hour of the phone call. Many professionals will make you feel like an idiot for attempting something yourself (especially when it goes wrong!)...John didn't. He explained what he was doing and showed us where we'd gotten confused. He finished the work within an hour, and the charge was reasonable. Next electricity project, we're calling him in the first place! ;-) John is polite, personable, responsive, efficient, and effective--highly recommended!

Had an issue with the GFCIs in our outdoor kitchen. Tried to diagnose it, but the issue went beyond my (admittedly meager) electrical skills. Emailed JL Electric on a Friday evening and, even though it was late, got a response back for an appointment on Monday morning.

John arrived promptly (early even!), got right to work, identified the issue and fixed it in ~20 minutes. All that, and he's a nice guy too. Great job, John!!

JL ELECTRIC came highly recommended from a close friend of mine, and after John finished his work on my newly purchased ""fix me upper"", I could tell why! In just 1.5 days of work, John literally lit up my entire house with the lighting it desperately needed. In a quick day and a half, JL Electric installed 16 canned lights, 3 large fixtures, replaced a few dozen light switches, and a few handfuls of electrical sockets. He went as far as Pre wiring for future ceiling lights and fans. Most importantly, he gave me honest advice,which is hard to find now a days. I was 100% satisfied with his work and professionalism . Look no further, not many electricians can match the quality and speed of work as John did. Worth every last penny.
