JK does it all! We had our electrical upgraded by JK and during the process we were required to remove the housing unit surrounding our meters. Removing this unit exposed the studs in the exterior wall of our home. Our electrician Kevin told us that they could send someone out to repair and patch the stucco and they did. The stucco was done beautifully to match the existing stucco on our home. They were quick and professional.

I highly recommend JK for your electrical and construction needs.

Do not use this company! I had a simple short in two ceiling lights they fixed 14 months ago. They were extremely courteous and fixed the problem quickly. In fact I actually recommended this company to numerous friends and family members. However, the same short re-appeared in the exact same two ceiling lights this past month. They wanted to charge $200 just to look at the issue and another $100 to fix the issue. $300 to fix a simple short in the ceiling of a one-story home!! Absolutely ridiculous!

We recently had work done by J&K electrical and I cannot stress enough how excellent our electrician was. Jose Castaneda is amazing at his job and went above and beyond to repair our faulty wiring issue. During his assessment he stated he would have to put a few holes in our walls to fix the issue and in the end no holes were needed! They cleaned up after themselves and explained everything they were doing. I have never worked with someone so knowledgeable and professional! We will use J & K as long as we own this home and Jose is their employee!!

We had Jose Castaneda from J&K turn up last week to perform home warranty work at our house. Jose was ahead of time for the appointment, he called and let me know he would be coming sooner and if that was ok with me. This in stark contrast to Budget Electrical (I reviewed them recently) who were dispatched by Fidelity Home warranty service and failed to turn up after several attempts.

Jose was able to diagnose the CAT5 wiring issue using the cool equipment he had and fix the CAT5 data wires. He really knew what he was doing. Very courteous, knowledgeable. After a bit of removing cover plates he cleaned up the debris, which 99% of electricians I have worked with never do. Jose was nice enough to also debug by in-wall speakers issue even though that was not part of the work order. All in all a stellar person to work with.

Cons:

J&K was difficult to reach when I was trying to schedule a visit. My home warranty service was able to talk to them but their office never replied to my VM. I expected a bit more responsiveness on their part. But Jose made up for their shortcomings :-)
