I've had electrical issues in my condo unit for few months now. Wiring, switches, bathroom fan giving out. I troubleshooted as much as I could and then gave JJ a call. Before he even started with estimates (like most vendors these days) he listened to my situation and gave me advice on how to fix, even without him or his team coming over. I still couldn't get it to work so he came by the next morning and put his expertise to use. Within 30 minutes he was able to pinpoint the problem. Within the next 30 mins he fixed it. Problem solved. I think JJ is a very humble, down to earth, and honest person.. I appreciate his quick turnaround and very reasonable pricing. I recommend him for all electric needs. He's smart and to the point. Nothing but 5 stars!! Thanks again!

Jay is awesome! we had some problems with our Electric system after we moved in, he always respond quickly and be here on time. He can find the root cause right away and helped us fix it with very reasonable price. I'm glad that we have him as our electrician. Highly recommended!!

We were trying to change some light fixtures- fairly straight forward you say- add to that a 69 year old house with some very questionable DIY electric work and - we were left standing with no light in our corridor ( aka hallway).

It was a Sunday and after calling around Jay was able to come and assess the issue. He came back on Monday and told us that he would need to straighten out the electric work before he could install the fixtures.

Come Thursday morning, his assistant and jay promptly showed up and after half hour of investigation realized the problem wasn't as bad as it seemed

He gave me a discount on the quoted price and left me a happy customer with light :)

I called JJ Electric in anticipation of the delivery of my Tesla Model S. JJ arrived as scheduled and I was impressed with his pleasant and professional demeanor. He explained to me in simple terms what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate, which I thought is very reasonable, and also told me that he needs between 2 and 3 hours to install the 240 volt outlet for my model S. I set up an appointment the following Monday, he arrived on time with his assistant, and got the job done in less than 2 1/2 hours. He reconfigured my circuit breaker and properly installed the 240 volt outlet just in time for me to enjoy my Tesla model S. Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing an electrical job done right the first time around.

Jay is my hero!! He came the same day to fix the bathroom fixture lights that had suddenly gone out after the maids had cleaned;)) He did a quick diagnostic and discovered they had shorted them out probably with a wet cloth. He also let me know I should replace the fixture since soon I would not be able to find those light bulbs anymore. He arrived on time and was done very quickly! I highly recommend him since he was great to work with! I will be calling him soon to replace all the fixtures. Great service!

I called Jay because of the reviews he has in Yelp. We met on Wednesday and he did a Visual Inspection of the entire electrical system in the home. He indicated that he was going to send me the estimate late in the afternoon. I did not get it so I called next day and ask for it. He indicated that he was taking care of emergencies and he was going to send it to me later on in the afternoon. I called him on Friday at 4:45 PM and ask for the estimate again. He mention again that he was taking care of emergencies and got upset at me instead of apologizing for not delivering what he promised .. 2 times. I understand he is busy and I am happy for him... but he should be honest and say ""I am very busy... it will take me 3-5 days to send you the estimate"" Any one would be able to understand that. Getting upset at a potential client who may need a complete electrical re-wire in a residential home is not an excuse... he needs to rethink about his customer service skills and the promises he makes.

I called JJ Electric for my oven power issue this morning. Jay was able to come at 2:00pm today.

He came on time and quickly identified the issue was connection to the oven instead of circuit breaker. In about 45 minutes, the job was done! Great service!

He has done a few jobs for me and every time he has had come to my rental condo, he has been there when he said he would; he even made time on a weekend, the only time I could meet with him. Jay is courteous, knowledgeable and does an excellent job.
