I had to pinch myself, because who, after making a call for service would expect that the person answering the phone would be there in under an hour, on a Saturday yet! Jim is very professional, no nonsense and has a wealth of knowledge. He was able to fix my dryer in an hour and a half. Great guy to talk to as well! You can't go wrong here!

Jim brought a conversation with discrimination and politics. I told him I'd rather not go there. He insisted on carrying on.
He never mentioned before arriving that he only accepted cash and check
He needed me to help him look things up on google while he was at my home to help him get information about my machine. He was unable to fix the issue
I accidentally wrote a check from an old checkbook. He sent a text message about the issue. I responded saying this was an accident, please send me your address and I'll send a check immediately... no response.
From a different phone number than his business He called 4x in a day both before 7am and at 8pm. When I finally answered the call he had a rude tone and assumed that I was avoiding him. He said he doesn't respond to text messages and that he had asked me to call him. Yet his initial text message did not say this.
I sent him a check even though he doesn't deserve a dime

Jim is great. He knew what the problem with my stove was, he was efficient in fixing it and he saved me a lot. He even called to move my appointment up by a day because his schedule freed up. What great service!!!

Jim is fantastic! Saved us hundreds of dollars on buying new appliances when he fixed a dishwasher, and a few weeks after that, a drier. Both times, we scheduled appointments for the next day, and he showed up with all the necessary parts after I described the issues. Very happy with his work and would recommend him to everyone!

What a nice man. Jim unfortunately doesn't service my zip code, but he was willing to do a free consult and offered advice to help me fix my appliance error without needing to pay for a repair person. He is the type of provider I'd love to hire given his clear knowledge of Appliances and I would recommend to those within his service area.

Jim is obviously extremely knowledgeable. He managed to fix our 25 year old dryer so it is like new. He asked for the model number in advance and came prepared with parts. In addition to going above and beyond in everything he did, he is very kind and pleasant.

All the 5-star ratings for Jim are as they should be, when you get your problem fixed. However, those who are told they need to replace their appliance are less likely to post any rating as they just pay the fee for visit dispose of old appliance and buy a new one.
So if you are okay with ""why fix when you can buy new"" philosophy, then Jim might be right for you.
However, I was not ready to spend that much to replace so I paid another appliance repair company to diagnosis fee and had my appliance repaired for under $200.
Jim told me I needed to replace my appliance which would've cost me well over $2,000, rather than being honest and telling me he didn't have the right equipment (because it likely wouldn't fit on his motorcycle, or perhaps wasn't licensed to do the repair that was needed.

Great job. Jim came right when we needed him, saw the problem and fixed it on the spot. The next time something goes haywire, I'll call Jim first before anyone else.
