Literally as good as it gets. Jim arrived on his decked-out motorcycle and diagnosed our fridge within 20-25 minutes, systematically going through each part of the fridge and see what sort of system failure might be going on (it was not getting cold enough). He eventually found out the compressor was leaking coolant and said it would cost more to fix our cheapo fridge than shop for a new one. Sort of bad news but delivered with a depth of experience that only comes from knowing these dang appliances inside and out.

Well, here is another 5 stars for Jim. He is a master trouble shooter. We had a problem with our LG washer and called Jim. He had never seen a top loader before but proceed to examine it. The fix didn't work the first time, so I called a factory-authorized repairman. He said he didn't know how to fix the machine and would not charge for the call. I called Jim back and he had been researching the machine through Amazon and online and said he thought he could fix the problem. And he did! Hat's off to Jim.

Yup. This is the guy to call. Comes when he says and barely charges for his time if it can't be fixed. High integrity.

Jim is the best. He arrived on his motorcycle with all of the appropriate tools to fix our washing machine and kitchen faucet. He knew exactly how to fix both problems and did so within a short amount of time. Jim is intelligent, kind, responsive and very reasonably priced. We will contact Jim for all of our electronic and plumbing needs. Thanks, JIm.

Fast attentive service, reasonable price. Jim was on it and way more responsive than any of the other providers that I called to fix our dryer. He will be my go to on appliance repair from here on.

Our Maytag Neptune dryer coils failed. I called Jim based on the reviews on Yelp. The very next day, he showed up on his motorcycle and replaced the coils with brand new ones in less than an hour.

He was super knowledgeable about all brands of appliances. He can work with old clunkers and modern ones as well.

Thanks for keeping our laundry needs in working order!

Jim is a local ""treasure"". A charming, interesting and knowledgable guy, he is always ready to drop anything he has going on in his life to come over and take care of your problem. Even on Labor Day!
I met him over a year ago when my lady suggested I call him about a minor problem at the house, and he has been here at least 4 times since, each time not only solving the problem, but leaving only after an interesting and introspective conversation about any subject.
If you need a great handyman, whose prices are more than fair and quality of work excellent ( I'm a builder, so I know), don't hesitate to call Jim. He'll fix whatever needs fixing and when he leaves you'll be a little better off because he was there. He really is one in a million.
Thanks Jim!

Jim came by today and fixed a complex problem in my GE dishwasher. Broken glass in the drain. He analyzed the problem thoroughly and solved the problem. Now I don't have to buy a new one. Really helpful and super knowledgeable. Thanks Jim!!

Problem: electric stove top burners stopped working - 220 current was good, no info in User's Manual. What could we do? We called Jim.

Jim was quick to respond, arrived as scheduled, had researched the problem based on my telephone description, figured it out in less than 10 minutes and was on the road to his next appointment shortly thereafter.

A very pleasant, interesting and knowledgeable fellow. I've already recommended him to multiple friends. For you Breaking Bad fans, don't call Saul, call Jim instead.

Cheers,

I've had two occasions that required Jim's help and he's come through for me both times with flying colors! He gets back to you right away and even on Christmas Eve! My oven decided to not work on the morning of Christmas Eve (Thursday) and most businesses I called were closed or told me it would be the following week before I could get an appointment. Jim was booked that day but said he could come first thing Saturday morning for me. As I plotted my backup plan and purchased a counter-top oven to make do with for the holiday and began putting that to use, Jim called me and said his appointments didn't take as much time as he thought that day and he could come that day if that worked for me. He practically saved Christmas, in a way! He came with the part I needed (luckily it's one that is often required, so he keeps them on hand) and was in and out in about an hour! The first time I used him required us to have him let himself in to check out our refrigerator that wasn't cooling and he was upfront and honest with us and told us we should contact the manufacturer if the unit was under warranty cause the issue looked pretty major. Again, lucky for us, it did turn out to be a warranty repair, so we saved a lot on that repair. Jim is great and now my go-to guy for this sort of thing. Hopefully I won't need to rely on him too often, but he's a great guy to have in my contact list for sure!
