Unfortunately I cannot recommend this electrician due to his unprofessional practices, his poor communication skills, his lack of organization and his unreliability.
He was referred to us by our home warranty insurance. Initially, he was very pleasant, scattered and short staffed, but affable and willing to work with us. Our kitchen fan quit working. He was unable to find our kitchen fan online, a Hampton Bay, so, trying to help him out and save him time, I looked it up and texted him the link. He said he would order it. Over the next 6 weeks, he never called me, so I checked on the order several times. He assured me it had been ordered and was coming. At 6 weeks, I called again. He said he'd check. The next day he told me it had been shipped, but, apparently it was from a Chinese company and had he no idea of the arrival time. He told me I could go to Home Depot and pick out another fan, pay for it myself and hope to be reimbursed by the insurance company. I wanted this particular fan. So, again, I looked it up online from Home Depot and sent him the link. He said he would order it. I knew it would take 6 days to ship and it was not available in the store. On day 12, I called to check. He initially couldn't find my order or give me any info. He again told me how understaffed and overworked he was and how rude I was because I was expressing my utter frustration over his lack of any communication over the previous 8 weeks, upset he couldn't find the order info and generally upset that I had been waiting for so long. He then tells me it's my fault this happened due to my fan orders and that I can find another person to do the work. I called him unprofessional and inept. He hung up on me. I've had other electricians order fans and install them in the past and it never took this length of time.
I'm sorry Jim was overwhelmed and understaffed, truly, but, never coming over, never calling me, waiting over 8 weeks, never knowing for sure if the fan was ever ordered and hanging up on me, I stand by my impression that this electrician is unreliable and unprofessional. He said he would order it.

After one electrician failed us Jim Conrad Electric's technician saved the day! We had lost power in part of the kitchen/garage and our first electrician left us high and dry not returning our calls. After switching to Jim Conrad we were pleased that they communicated to us well during the course of their visits, did their due diligence to track down what was causing the issue and of course repaired the issue getting our lights/plugs in the kitchen back to normal. Thank you guys so much and I'll be sure to seek you out first in the future/recommend your business to family and friends for electrical repair needs.

absolutely horrible. my power has been out for 30hrs and is still out because they are switching over to smart meters. both days they have been here working they have had 5 people and i've seen multiple standing around talking and laughing while on site. do not hire, their employees do not work in a timely manner and always seem to be on breaks.

The Jim Conrad electric truck on the 273 this morning between 8:50 am - 9:00 am sweverd in front of my daughter, who is an adult driver, to get into the left turn lane from the far right lane, keep in mind there in no one behind us. She beeped at him as she had to abruptly hit the breaks to avoid hitting him, we had assumed he didn't see her. He then pulled back out on the road behind us then sped up and raced infront of us and then proceeded to slam on his breaks trying to get us to hit him then completely slow down and repeated the maneuver, he did this twice, again keep in mind there is no one around us at this point he wasn't avoiding anything. I pulled out my phone held it up to get a picture and he sped off. Watch out for this guy my five year old was also in the car as we were heading to drive through playgroup!! I know what electric company I'll never be using!
