These guys are awesome. We've had them out three different times for various things - upgrading outlets and fuse box, fixing a lot of DIY electric work the previous owner did incorrectly, installing a cooling fan in the attic, installing new light fixtures and ceiling fans, installing a new stove hood... Basically, if we need electrical work done, we call these guys every time. Highly recommend! They're quick. They're nice. They're thorough!

What I appreciated most about Jason was not only how responsive and timely he was with my initial request (i.e.: I heard back from him within an hour of my request on YELP and he was at my door the following morning at 630a for the appt ) once he arrived and completed what I needed him to do, he pointed out some potential electrical hazards that I wasn't even aware existed in my home that could lead to equipment failure and offered up a solution .

I was originally skeptical of what he said and brought in another electrician the next day to validate what Jason had pointed out. To my surprise, he agreed with the initial assessment and recommended that I have it resolved.

My wife and I have added JG electric to our permanent list of trades that we will be working in the future.

Called JG Electric, he sounded nice on the phone but he wasn't sure he could reach the can lights on my vaulted ceiling which was weird. Made an appt for the following week, he told me he should be able to be there early. Guess what? He never showed, never called. I called and left a message and nothing. I had errands I wanted to do but instead I sat around (because he might have come early). Big disappointment.

I originally engaged JG via the Yelp ""Request a Quote"" application. He responded to my request shortly after my submission, and was able to schedule service the following week (this was not a time sensitive request).

Once he was on site, my wife made a 2nd request for additional work, which he quoted a fair price, and was able to complete during our original appointment.

He and his employee made sure they cleaned up the work area after they completed their installs, and left the rooms in the same/better condition that found them in.

Both Jason and his employee were polite and extremely professional, I will definitely hire them again, when I have another electrical need.

Jason called me shortly after and answered a few of my questions, he gave me a time frame that he was showing up and then called me back to let me know things have changed and that he would show up bout 9am, he showed up at 9:07 with his work partner Chris, both very quick and professional. My husband was replacing some outlets with these neat outlets that have USB ports as well. Well he shorted out a few outlets in the process including the outlet our refrigerator plugs into. Our ""Robert Powell-designed home in Campus Commons may be contemporary in design, but in moving in last fall we quickly realized it was outmoded with 50-year-old electrical wiring. Where to start? A decade ago JG Electric helped us by correcting another electrician's wiring of a home addition. This time around, Jason worked with us over several months in finding cost-effective and energy-efficient ways to resolve electrical panel problems, repair mice-chewed wiring, re-route almost all of the electric circuits running through a wall to be removed, increase kitchen outlets and recessed lighting, add concealed under-cabinet LED tape, replace ugly outdoor yard spots with subtle architecturally-enhancing indirect lighting, magically find an electrical source and hang a fan from a vaulted ceiling, and install adjustable recessed fixtures for lighting art. We likely did even more. JG Electric did all of this evolving work with periodic clear estimates, at a pace set by us, and without damaging existing old wallboard. We now have a home filled with electrical innovation that finally correlates with its original conception. Thanks Jason!
