After searching in Yelp, I messaged Mr. Jeff, who responded quickly. He requested pictures so he could make sure it was a job he could do.
He gave me an estimate, which I thought was fair. He said he was available on Saturday. He arrived, put down a tarp to make sure the area was protected, and began working immediately. He sanded, caulked, and painted my outside doorway quickly.
The job was well done.
Mr. Jeff was a delight to talk to. He and my husband talked and shared stories. He is very knowledgeable about many topics.

The bad: He charged $360.00 to replace two 9.5"" x 15"" glass panels and said he would come back to paint over the putty, but he never did. I texted him and he never responded. He asked me to write a review about his business, so here it is.

Wow! I feel like I found my handyman for the next lifetime. Not only did Jeff make sure to take care of every single task I had, but he also made it a priority to TEACH me how to fix things I wanted to fix in the future. As a new homeowner, this was extremely gratuitous and appreciated. I felt like Jeff really wanted me to be able to maintain my home better and only call him when I really needed help. He seems extremely well versed in all sorts of things, and there wasn't a single thing I asked about that he couldn't fix. When I'm telling you, look no further, I mean it! I've already sent Jeff's contact info to my dearest friends, and I truly look forward to having someone reliable for the future.

What other handyman takes a look at your house and says ""I have just the thing that will fit in here!"" And pulls out a magnificent parting gift of a painting?
While I'm sure Jeff doesn't have a painting for every client, it's that kind of attention to detail & hospitality that left me feeling significantly more at peace with using him over anyone else. I really look forward to a continued partnership!

I requested a service call for a tankless water heater at a rental property. He can the same day (a Saturday) and fixed it. He also traced the breaker for the unit (which was actually in the incorrectly labeled box). He's a smart guy. I will be calling him again for repairs and to flush my tankless water heaters (part of general maintenance). Thanks Jeff!

We recently hired Jeff to help with a few projects around our home, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He did some spectacular painting and needed maintenance work for our ceiling and installed new weather stripping on our doors. He was very honest and transparent with costs (any items we needed for the job, he purchased and showed us receipts). He also got us some things for us to be able to do simple work ourselves. This was incredibly thoughtful and kind of him. He is extremely thorough and professional (he changed our vents for us to mitigate any paint smell and even spray painted the vent covering as its appearance had weathered a bit).

His work was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. We will definitely be working with him on future projects and highly recommend his services.

I called Jeff at 3p on a Friday. The humidity had swollen our front door shut, and we couldn't fully close the door. He was finishing a job, and done for the day. But after hearing about our plight, he came by about 2 hours later, fixed our door. Now we can lock it, open it--all the things. Excellent work. He also repositioned the latches on the back door, so it, too, would lock properly. While here, he helped us support our iron fence that had fallen down. He gets five stars for coming on a Friday afternoon to help some strangers. And for doing above and beyond. I'd definitely call him again. He's personable, skilled, efficient.
