Not happy as he came out to my parents house to see why the water heater was not heating water. It would work sometimes and sometimes it won't. He suggested buying parts which my parents did. Never followed through and when I contacted him to come and fix the part we bought, he said he doesn't have transport. We offered to pick him up but he didn't respond. Not professional at all.

OH. MY. GOD. He literally just SPLIT!

He told me he had his ""truck stolen"" .. so I asked him if he needed a ride home .. he told me ""no"" .. then he slipped out the back door without saying a word!!!

Left me without WATER!!!

AND A MESS!!!!

NO FUCKING WATER!!!

The least he could have done is left me with water. I have been without water for over a month ALREADY!!!!

Very unreliable. He started installing the drapes and was not able to complete it due to personal problems. He had to leave, I am totally sympathetic about that. But he should have called and texted us to follow up the project. No call, no text. After I call and text him, he texts me telling me he will find someone else. He was not trying just a text. He left holes in the wall. Poor service, I definitely will not recommend him

Hard worker very determined like no other but lacked the knowledge to fix my flooring. Bottom line , cost me a lot of money for damage.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I texted him about helping remove my shower arm (simple job right) he broke my pipe (the one inside the shower wall) and he said he was going to get a new one and fix it. He left saying he had fixed, but when I went to check it wasn't fix. Good thing I didn't turn on the shower because can you imagine the damage to my drywall!!
Now I'm calling someone to fix it and they say they would have to break the wall to fix it! So couple thousands ...
If he couldn't do the job he should've just told me! Now I have to spend more money!

My initial impression of James was good, but NOT any longer. After the need for him to make FIVE trips to my home to complete the plumbing repairs for which he was paid, including a simple repair of a leak under my bathroom sink, the work is STILL not satisfactorily done!!! In fact, the leak is worse than it was to begin with, and also now the sink stopper does not work as he disconnected the hardware. I cannot not use my sink as the stopper is stuck in the closed position. I have been more than patient with James. Today was the final straw; he was to arrive AGAIN at 10:00 am this morning. He did NOT show up nor respond in any way to several texts and a phone voice mail. I have mentioned to him that a refund of the what he charged me for the sink leak repair would be appropriate. If possible, I shall also report James to the Better Business Bureau. Based upon my experience with James, I do NOT recommend him. I will NOT be using him again.

James is really good at some stuff. However, we have an older house with a hodgepodge of electrical work and he was unable to determine where the problem was. He did discount my bill. But I would have been better served by a trained electrician. UseJames for smaller stuff, yes. But for something more technical I would recommend a trained electrician for your electrical needs. Stay informed!

Sprung a leak on our main water line, James responded quickly to our Yelp request. Nice guy, came out to fix it the next day. He made a huge mess, and his repair was done very poorly. It leaked immediately. He said he'd come the next day, but then messaged that next day to say he could not fix it, was having personal issues. I had to find someone else (more expensive, but now it's done right). Save yourself the time and call someone else

James arrived promptly on time, on a Sunday afternoon. He quickly sized up the problem, a failing overhead fluorescent fixture in my kitchen; I had put new fluorescent tubes in, but it still wouldn't light up. James suggested several ways of dealing with it: 1-Replace the fixture; at 30+ years old, was not unlikely to just be worn out. 2-Replace the ""ballast"". (He observed, the ballast might cost more than a whole new fixture - good to know!) 3-Check the wall switch (by far, the cheapest, and easiest to fix). He replaced the wall switch - at first, no luck, but then, with some attention to ""seating"" the new bulbs more securely, SUCCESS. Cost, and time, therefore, minimal - and without his attention and persistence, I would probably have paid much more. EXCELLENT service!!

Our house was pre wired for ceiling fans and JDM was one of the services we reached out to for installation of the 2 fans we purchased. James had the quickest response of those we reached out to, and the most reasonable estimate. He was timely, assembled the new fans and installed them both quickly. They look and work great! We're really happy with his work and already talked to him about doing a couple more projects for us in the future. Thanks James!
